Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw this apartment listing promising views of the Alcázar, Cathedral, and Giralda all from one place, I was pretty skeptical. I mean, you know how these Seville rentals can oversell their views, right? But walking up Calle Santo Tomás (which is basically this narrow cobblestone street that most tourists completely miss), I started getting excited. The building itself is typical Sevillian – white walls, wrought iron balconies, the works – but it’s the location that really got me.

Once you’re inside, well, those views aren’t exaggerated at all. Actually, they’re better than the photos suggest. From the main room, you’ve got this perfect angle where you can see the Giralda tower rising above the rooftops, and if you lean out just a bit from the balcony, there’s the Cathedral’s Gothic bulk dominating the skyline. The Alcázar views are more subtle – you catch glimpses of its walls and gardens, especially in the morning light. What I really loved though was how quiet it gets at night. You’re literally in the heart of the old town, but Santo Tomás doesn’t get the foot traffic that nearby Mateos Gago gets (that’s where all the tapas bars are, and honestly, it can be pretty rowdy until late). Here, you’ll hear church bells – lots of them – but that’s about it after 10 PM.

The apartment itself is what I’d call “comfortable without trying too hard.” It’s got that lived-in feel that makes you want to actually stay in and cook breakfast instead of rushing out to the nearest café. The kitchen’s small but functional, and there’s this little dining area where you can sit with your coffee and just watch the city wake up. I spent way too many mornings doing exactly that. Parking is… well, forget about parking nearby. You’ll want to use one of the public lots near the Cathedral and just walk – it’s maybe five minutes, and you’ll be walking on some of the most beautiful streets in Europe, so not exactly a hardship. The only real downside I noticed was that the wifi could be spotty during peak hours, and if you’re here during Semana Santa or Feria, expect some noise from the processions and celebrations. But honestly? That’s part of the charm. You’re staying in a place where you can literally watch centuries-old traditions unfold right outside your window. For a three-star place with a 9.1 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises – authentic Seville living with postcard views that never get old.

  The apartment was great. The location couldn't have been better – right next to the cathedral and the Alcazar. Very convenient spot to pop in and out of throughout the day. It felt a little surreal to open the balcony doors and be looking at the gorgeous cathedral while sipping on wine. Very nice alternative to a hotel and was cheaper. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.
