Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Luxury Palace Sevilla? The name actually undersells it – I mean, sure, it sounds a bit grand, but when you’re standing in that converted 18th-century mansion on Calle San Vicente, you get why they went with “palace.” The entrance alone, with its original stone archway and these gorgeous Andalusian tiles, makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special rather than just another hotel in Sevilla’s old quarter.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos around the Cathedral. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Plaza del Salvador – you know, that little square where locals actually hang out for tapas instead of the more obvious spots. I loved being able to duck out in the evening and grab a beer at El Rinconcillo (supposedly the oldest bar in Sevilla, though every bartender in town claims that). The street itself is quiet enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back from Triana at 2am, but you’re still close enough to walk everywhere that matters. Fair warning though – if you’re driving, parking is pretty much nonexistent on the street itself, but there’s a decent underground garage about two blocks away.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve kept the building’s character intact while actually making it comfortable to stay in. The rooms have these incredible high ceilings with original wooden beams, but they’ve managed to fit proper air conditioning (crucial in Sevilla summers, trust me) and modern bathrooms without it feeling like an awkward renovation job. The staff genuinely knows their stuff too – not just the usual hotel recommendations, but real local insights. The guy at reception told me about this tiny ceramic workshop tucked away in Santa Cruz where you can watch artisans work, something I never would’ve found on my own. Honestly, with a 9.6 rating, I was expecting maybe some inflated reviews, but after staying there… well, it’s earned every point. The breakfast spread features local pastries from a bakery around the corner rather than generic hotel fare, and they serve proper Spanish coffee, not that watered-down stuff you sometimes get at tourist places. It’s the kind of spot where you actually want to linger in the morning rather than rushing out to start sightseeing.

Gorgeous luxury villa, newly renovated. Even better than the pictgures. Incredibly spacious, great for big groups. Great location, approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the cathedral area, much closer to the Setas. The parking spot was super helpful. Easy entry with keys in lockbox. Everything was modern and new, but incorporated some rustic design elements. Every sleeping space had its own bathroom. There were 4 traditional bedrooms with their own door and bathroom, and on the rooftop next to the terrace there was another room with a sleeper sofa and powder room that would serve as a comfortable 5th bedroom. There was also a sleeper sofa in the living room next to the kitchen. Each sleeping space (whether a bedroom or a space wiht a sleeper sofa had its own bathroom).

What could be improved: It's a vertical space spread out over several floors, so if you have mobility issues, the stairs would be a challenge. One suggestion: shades/blinds for the internal window in the ground floor room.

The apartment was good and nice. Be warned that there is no elevator. So, our senior members of the family had difficulty moving up and down the whole complex. However, the rooms made up for the inconvenience. The facilities provided were quite nice. Host was very responsive.

What could be improved: lack of elevator in the complex. It would be good for families without senior members. However, the place is located in a quiet neighborhood and accessible enough.
