You know what struck me first about Magno Apartments on Álvarez Quintero? The building itself – it’s this beautifully restored traditional Sevillano structure that manages to feel both historic and completely livable. I mean, you’re literally staying in the heart of the old town, just a two-minute walk from the Cathedral (and trust me, when it’s 40 degrees in July, those two minutes matter). The street itself is narrow and cobbled, which gives you that authentic Seville vibe, though honestly, good luck getting a taxi right to the door – but that’s part of the charm.
The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for a European city center. Each one feels more like a proper home than a hotel room, with kitchens that actually work (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some jamón and cheese plates with stuff from the little market on Calle Regina). The decor walks that fine line between modern comfort and respecting the building’s character – exposed beams, tile work that nods to traditional Andalusian style, but contemporary furniture that doesn’t make you feel like you’re sleeping in a museum. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re basically in the middle of everything. The walls are thick – old Spanish construction done right.
Location-wise, this place is almost ridiculously well-positioned. You can walk to the Alcázar in five minutes, stumble back from the tapas bars on Calle Mateos Gago without needing GPS, and – this is key – you’re close enough to Plaza Nueva that getting an Uber or taxi when you need one isn’t a nightmare. The staff actually knows the neighborhood too, not just the tourist highlights. They pointed me toward this tiny bar called El Rinconcillo (apparently it’s from 1670?) that I never would have found otherwise. Check-in was smooth, though they do close the front desk at night, so don’t plan on rolling in at 2 AM without giving them a heads up. One small thing – if you’re bringing a lot of luggage, prepare for some stairs and no elevator, but honestly, that’s just Seville old town reality. The whole experience feels less like staying in a hotel and more like borrowing a friend’s perfectly located apartment, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually live in a city for a few days rather than just tick off the tourist boxes.

Spacious and clean. There was coffee and tea provided. There was also olive oil, salt,pepper. Location was perfect-few minutes from cathedral. We really loved it

The apartment was beautifully furnished, neat and clean. All feels fresh, well-maintained and in good conditions. The apartment is greatly located in the middle of the action yet once in there is peaceful and quiet.
