Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Magno Apartments Ave María honestly surprised me. The location on Calle Ave María is one of those spots that feels genuinely local – you’re right in the heart of the old town, but it’s not touristy in that overwhelming way. I mean, you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe eight minutes, but you’re not dealing with the crowds that camp out around those main squares all day.

The apartments themselves have this modern-meets-traditional thing going on that actually works. The building looks pretty unassuming from the street (which is typical for this part of Seville), but once you’re inside, it’s clear someone put real thought into the renovations. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – not just for show – and the air conditioning is solid, which honestly matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with those brutal Andalusian summers. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing; even though you’re on a narrow street where voices carry, I slept well most nights. The Wi-Fi is reliable too, which… well, you know how hit-or-miss that can be in these old buildings.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before booking: parking is going to be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving. The pedestrian-only streets mean you’ll need to figure out the closest garage, but that’s pretty standard for this neighborhood. The check-in process was smooth – they actually meet you at the property rather than making you hunt down some random office. And honestly? The staff knows the area. When I asked about where to get good tapas that weren’t tourist traps, they pointed me toward a couple of bars on nearby side streets that I never would have found otherwise. You’re also walking distance from the Metropol Parasol (that weird wooden structure everyone calls “the mushrooms”), and the Alameda de Hércules is close enough for evening drinks – that whole area comes alive after dark in the best way. The rating of 8.8 makes sense to me; it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtful and well-executed. If you want to stay somewhere that feels like you’re actually living in Seville for a few days rather than just passing through, this place gets it right.

  My only regret is that I didn't start talking to magno apartments sooner. The staff are incredibly friendly, lovely to talk to and interact with and they even helped me recommend and book events.
  They were a major factor in my wonderful time in Séville.
  The apartment was clean, beautiful and intentionally decorated. I love the attention to detail even with the lamps and the decor.
  
  What could be improved: Not much, there was some construction outdoors but I brought ear plugs

  The location was very central to everything and quiet. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped and secure. Fabulous to be able to wash and iron our clothes.

  What could be improved: Not cleaned well. Ants were all over the apartment , in all
  rooms and in all floors. Management said they can do a treatment while we are in the apartment which I refused definitely cause the apartment should have been cleaned and treated before our arrival

  Conforme à l'annonce. Hyper bien situé dans quartier historique. Calme, même si la résidence est très sonore ! Sympa d'avoir laissé des dosettes de café à l'accueil. Clim parfaite (il faisait 40° dehors !!!)
