You know what caught me off guard about Magno Apartments Campana? The fact that you’re literally staying in one of Seville’s most atmospheric neighborhoods without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble. I mean, Calle Santa María de Gracia isn’t exactly a household name, but it’s tucked right into the maze of the old town where you’ll actually hear Spanish conversations drifting from balconies instead of just camera clicks.

The apartments themselves have this interesting thing going on – they’ve managed to feel properly Sevillian (think exposed brick, decent ceiling height, tiles that look like they belong) without being stuck in some time warp where the wifi doesn’t work. Honestly, I was expecting the usual apartment rental lottery where you either get charm or functionality, but these guys seem to have figured out both. The spaces are genuinely comfortable, not just Instagram-pretty, and you’ll have enough room to actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for a week. What really sold me was stepping onto the little balcony in the evening – you get these glimpses of daily Sevillian life happening around you, plus you’re close enough to the cathedral area that you can wander over whenever the mood strikes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tour groups under your window at 8 AM.

The location thing is actually pretty clever when you think about it. You’re definitely walking distance to all the big hits (the cathedral, Alcázar, that whole scene), but you’re also stumbling distance from some genuinely good tapas spots that locals actually use. I noticed people heading to work in the mornings, kids playing in the narrow streets – it felt real, you know? Plus, and this matters if you’re here in summer, these old town streets stay cooler during the day because of all the shade. The 8.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place where everything works like it should, the staff seems to actually care about helping you figure out the neighborhood, and you end up feeling like you got a proper taste of how Seville actually feels to live in, not just visit. Fair warning though – if you’re the type who needs a big hotel lobby scene or wants everything handed to you, this probably isn’t your speed. But if you want to wake up and feel like you’re temporarily living in one of Spain’s most beautiful cities rather than just passing through it, well, that’s exactly what you get here.

  Booked this place last minute due to another property that was meant to be hosting us letting us down and this place was able to accommodate us for 2 nights within the space of 3 hours during the fiera festival. The place is very nice and modern along with Aircon fitted throughout the property. It is also in a great central location with good transport links, restaurants and bars on door step
  
  What could be improved: A bit hard to find the place and address given was not exactly corrected and not working with taxi apps

  Excellent location for exploring the city. Check in was seamless with good instructions. The building is very quiet once inside and the apartment was well stocked with everything you need. The roof top lounge area was great.

  Apartment was in an ideal location. Lots of stores, restaurants etc. Very much appreciate the elevator. Beds were European hard, but comfortable. Kitchen was nice and had all the cookware and amenities needed. All in all great place to stay.
