Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Magno Apartments Casa del Correo Mayor I? The name makes it sound way more corporate than it actually is. I mean, when you’re wandering down Calle San Vicente – and honestly, you’ll probably walk past it twice before spotting the entrance – you realize this is one of those perfectly converted old buildings that Seville does so well. The kind where someone clearly cared about keeping the original character intact while making it actually livable for modern travelers.
The location is honestly ridiculous in the best way possible. You’re literally in the thick of Seville’s old town, but on one of those quieter side streets that the tour groups somehow miss. I could walk to the Cathedral in about eight minutes (I timed it), and the Alcázar is practically around the corner, but at night it’s surprisingly peaceful. The apartment itself – well, it’s more like a proper flat than a hotel room, which explains the whole “apartments” thing. High ceilings, those gorgeous old tiles that you see everywhere in Andalusia, but with a kitchen that actually works and Wi-Fi that doesn’t make you want to throw your laptop out the window. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually has decent water pressure, which honestly is harder to find in these historic buildings than you’d think.
What really sold me on this place was the little details that you don’t appreciate until you’re settling in for a few days. The windows – they’re these beautiful old wooden shutters that block out the light completely when you want to sleep in (crucial after a night exploring the tapas bars), but when you throw them open in the morning, you get these glimpses of typical Sevillian life happening in the courtyard across the way. The check-in process is refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a tiny lobby situation. And parking, well, forget about it like everywhere else in the old town, but the Cano y Cueto car park is about a five-minute walk if you’re driving. The building itself has that worn marble staircase that feels like it’s been there forever, and honestly, the whole place just feels authentic in a way that a lot of the bigger hotels in the area don’t quite manage. By the time I left, I was already planning my next trip back – partly because Seville gets under your skin like that, but also because finding a place that feels this much like home while still being in the heart of everything is pretty rare.

This was a gem – absolutely fantastic-15 out of 10 points. Location, size, amenities- it’s hard to beat this (only dimmable lights would give it a crown that nobody else can achieve)
We extended by two days as everything else would have meant a downgrade.
Thanks to the team that made it happen
And thank you for helping us unload the car when we parked in front of the apartmentJustine from United Kingdom – 9 October 2024 (8/10)

Loved the location and the local buzz. The apartment was quiet and very comfortable and the Magno staff were very helpful with meeting us and booking taxis to the airport.

The property was really clean and comfortable. The amenities were very well maintained and the kitchen was fully equipped to meet our needs. The location was fantastic, really safe area and very close to shops and the town centre.

Beautiful apartment, large, fresh (no need of turning on the air con in mid July), completely furnished. Two bathrooms. Large showers. Lovely staff (thank you Tanja!)

The location and the fact that it had a washing machine. It also felt safe which was important to us.
What could be improved: The fact that we received advice that someone would meet us at the property and then we were advised that we had to pick up the key from another property which we did after getting a taxi from the train station. We then had to walk quite a distance (at 9.30pm) dragging our luggage across the cobblestones. When we arrived at the apartment, we were not able to open the door with the key. We rang the management group and were told to turn the key to the left – still wouldn’t open. A staff member finally came to meet us and told us to turn the key to the left – we then turned it to the right and it opened the door. If we had been met at the apartment, this stressful situation would not have occurred (very disappointing). The young lady who came to the property was very nice and apologetic.Suchitra from United States – 25 May 2024 (8/10)

Beautiful apartment, very clean, furnished with everything we could need. Very quiet surroundings, close to city centre. We were very comfortable
What could be improved: Would have been better if the flat could have been a little more kid friendly. There were some glass bottles and vases as decorations which I had to remove for the safety of my small kids. I would have loved a rug in the sitting area for the kids to sit and play, rather than the cold hard wooden floor. These small touches would make all the difference to families with small childrenSlavka from Slovakia – 12 February 2024 (8/10)
The location is very central, and the flat is on the ground floor. It is a quiet street and separated with a big entrance hall from the street.
Space is really big, there were only 2 of us so we each had a bedroom and bathroom, plus big kitchen and living room.
As it is ground floor, there are windows facing the inner courtyard only.
Flat is well equipped and clean, and it looks exactly like the photos.
Also, check-in in person was ok, Marzana sent us lots of ideas on what to do while in Seville.
What could be improved: There is nothing to complain about.Choi from United Kingdom – 10 February 2024 (8/10)
Friendly and easy check in process from Victoria. Apartment was fully equipped. Good and clear communication from the host who is ready to support us with any requests or issues.
What could be improved: Maybe have more options for pillow sizes
