Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Magno Apartments Casa del Correo Mayor II is honestly one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. The name’s a mouthful — I mean, who comes up with these things? — but don’t let that throw you off. It’s tucked right on Calle San Vicente in the thick of the old town, and I’m talking proper old town here, not some touristy interpretation of it.

The thing that struck me first was how quiet it actually gets at night, which is pretty remarkable considering you’re literally surrounded by some of Seville’s most walked streets. During the day you’ll hear the clip-clop of horse carriages heading toward the cathedral (you’re that close), but come evening, there’s this lovely settled feeling that happens in these old neighborhoods. The apartment I stayed in had these gorgeous traditional tiles — the kind you see in postcards but rarely get to actually walk on barefoot in the morning. The kitchen was properly equipped too, not just some sad little setup with a broken coffee maker. I actually ended up cooking a few times because there’s this fantastic little market just a few minutes’ walk away where the vendors still remember your face after a couple visits.

What really sets this place apart is the location without the chaos, you know? You’re close enough to everything that matters — the Alcázar is basically around the corner, and you can stumble to some of the city’s best tapas bars without even trying — but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague some of the more obvious spots. The staff seems to actually know the neighborhood too, not just the standard tourist script. When I mentioned wanting to find a good place for breakfast that wasn’t overpriced tourist fare, they pointed me toward this little café on a side street that I never would have found otherwise. Honestly, that kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to experience a place rather than just photograph it. The 9.4 rating makes sense once you’re there — it’s the kind of place that gets the details right without making a big show of it, from the check-in process that actually works smoothly to having proper water pressure in the shower (trust me, not a given in historic buildings). If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Seville rather than just visiting it, this is your spot.

  Incredible location in the centre but on a quiet street with no noise from local businesses or neighbours. Completely modernised and safe building. The photos don't do the apartment justice as it is huge, airy, shiny and the bedrooms feel well separated, including a bathroom each that are a very good size. The shower in the master bedroom is huge! The apartment was beautifully clean, had lovely furniture and it was a real treat to have cotton bed sheets and large bath towels. All amenities in the kitchen present and a wonderful stay. Great communication too.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing! Small suggestion for if there could be different types of pillows available and a little shelf in the showers.

  We had a wonderful stay at this property. Spotlessly clean and is better than what the pictures show. It has all the amenities that made our stay very comfortable. The apartment is within walking distance to all major attractions and is located in a very safe neighborhood. Check-in was very smooth and timely. Victoria was very responsive and welcoming which made our visit to Sevillle especially memorable.

  The personal contact, Rocio put two baby beds for our kids in the apartment. Generous amount of towels and blankets, the kitchen was superb equipped, great applications like dishwasher and fridge, great quality. It exceeded our expectations!
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen could need some sharper knives and the microwave attached to the wall, to give mire space on the benchtop.

  Very clean and spacious, perfect location, very walkable to main attractions and various parts of the city. Main bedroom was very comfortable and well taken care of.
  
  What could be improved: Bedroom with 2 twin beds- not as comfortable mattress and pillows as main bedroom. Could be upgraded for more comfort for price point people are paying. It wasn’t possible to keep luggage after check out- having something on property if possible helps make the visiting process easy and seamless. I only suggest because was able to keep luggage at 2 other properties we stayed at on this trip.

  What could be improved: è gestito in modo molto impersonale. all’arrivo vengono consegnate le chiavi ma non viene spiegato nulla. ogni altro contatto avviene via whatsapp.
  neanche una bottiglia d’acqua all’arrivo.
