Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Magno Apartments Castilla? It’s tucked away on Calle Castilla in a way that feels like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t figured out yet. I mean, you’re right in Triana – which honestly is my favorite part of Seville – but it’s on this quieter residential street where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of just traffic and construction.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious, and I’m someone who’s gotten used to European “cozy” meaning you can touch both walls with your arms spread. These feel like actual homes, not hotel rooms with a mini-fridge thrown in the corner. The kitchens are properly equipped too – I actually cooked a few meals because there’s this fantastic little market on Calle Betis where vendors will argue with you about which tomatoes are best (in the most charming way possible). What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night. Triana can get lively, especially during flamenco season, but somehow this street just… doesn’t. You get the energy of the neighborhood during the day, then it settles into this peaceful residential vibe after sunset.

Location-wise, you’re about a five-minute walk to the Guadalquivir, and honestly, that morning walk along the river became my daily ritual. The Isabel II bridge is right there when you want to cross into the historic center, but here’s the thing – you might not want to leave Triana much once you settle in. The ceramic workshops, the tapas bars that locals actually frequent, that amazing little bookshop on Calle Pureza that stays open until midnight… it’s all walkable. I found myself explaining to friends back home that Triana isn’t just where you go for dinner in Seville – it’s where you’d want to live. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven in Andalusian cities will appreciate. There’s street parking that doesn’t require a engineering degree to figure out, and the staff actually knows which spots tend to open up when. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering, just clear instructions and genuine suggestions about neighborhood spots. The kind of place where they remember your name by day three, but in a natural way, not because they’re trying too hard. At a 9.1 rating, I’d say it earns every decimal point.

    Location,close to central Seville across the Triana bridge but yet situated in a quieter part of town with easy access to restaurants,supermarkets and a local market .

    What could be improved: The bathroom had a poor shower door and subsequently the water flooded the floor after every shower!

    Comfortable, clean and well kitted out apartment. Everything you need for a few days stay. The facility to leave bags at reception was useful. Nice touch having a bottle of wine and bottle of water. Around a 10-15 minute walk into town centre, but plenty nearby to see and see explore so it doesn't feel like you are 'out of the way' anyway.

    This is a great apartment in a great neighborhood, Triana, which is approximately a 15-20 min walk from the Cathedral. The Tiana neighborhood is lively, safe, walkable and there are many restaurants very close to the apartment.
    It's a nicely decorated building, with beautiful courtyard featuring a pool, front desk and elevator. Most apartments face the courtyard and like ours I antecipate they are very quiet, without street noise.
    Our apartment, 202, was spacious, bright and well decorated. Windows in every room. Nice shower, linens, and mattress. Great internet speed – I had to work and had no issues with it.
    Pet friendly, which is awesome.

    What could be improved: The AC in our unit did not work and repair was not available during our 3 day stay. They did take note and notified the office who then contacted me afterwards apologizing for the event. I am hopeful it will be repaired for the next guest.

    Everything was good. The studio was well equipped, clean, with hotel like AC, large window protected by steel bars for safe feeling. Kitchen was nice with everything. Location was even better than I imagined because the city center stretched so its superb. We used this as 1 night stop before we headed to airport early in morning and also for this reason location was perfect.

    What could be improved: Perhaps in the common area besides the pool those 3 large plants seem like mosquito attracing devices 🙂 they do look cool tho just maybe replace with nice fake ones or some other furniture.
