Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first turned onto Calle Periodista Nicolás Salas – it’s one of those quiet residential streets in Triana that most tourists walk right past. But Magno Apartments completely surprised me, in the best way possible. The building has this understated elegance that fits perfectly with the neighborhood’s authentic vibe, and you know what really sold me? The fact that they actually have dedicated parking spaces. I mean, if you’ve ever tried to park in Seville’s historic center, you’ll understand why this is basically a miracle.
The apartments themselves feel like someone’s stylish aunt decorated them – tasteful without being stuffy, comfortable without feeling generic. What I love about staying here is that you’re genuinely living in Triana, not just visiting it. The morning sounds are church bells mixing with neighbors chatting on their balconies, and honestly, it’s pretty magical. You can walk to the Guadalquivir riverbank in about three minutes, which means you’re looking at the cathedral and Giralda tower across the water before you’ve even had your coffee. The famous Triana Market is literally around the corner – and I’m talking about the real deal where locals buy their fish and vegetables, not some tourist trap. There’s this little ceramics workshop two streets over that’s been run by the same family for generations, plus you’re close enough to the bridge that getting into the old town takes maybe ten minutes on foot.
The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you stay here because it’s those little details that add up. The WiFi actually works (shocking, I know), the beds are properly comfortable, and the kitchens have everything you need if you want to cook with ingredients from the market. The staff seem to genuinely care about the place rather than just going through the motions. I’ve stayed in fancier hotels that felt more like sterile boxes, but this place has personality. Sure, it’s not going to have a rooftop pool or a marble lobby, but that’s sort of the point – you’re here for Seville, not for hotel amenities. The neighborhood gets lively in the evenings, especially on weekends when locals fill the tapas bars, but it’s not party-central loud. Just the right amount of energy to remind you that you’re in one of Spain’s most vibrant cities.

The space was beautiful and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful when we had small issues (that were resolved swiftly).

Great location, would recommend Triana as a district of Seville, good to explore the bars/tapas in the area away from the busy tourist locations.
Lovely view of the river, bridges and old town in the distance. Very quiet despite the river cruises and rowing clubs on the river opposite during daylight.
Great to have secure off-street parking included in a city break, a real bonus.
What could be improved: The lounge/diner lacked atmosphere, only one lamp and the ceiling lights were too bright.
Too many room freshener products, which were not good quality, had to move them into a cupboard, because they gave me a headache.

Very modern apartment with a wonderful view. Located in a great neighborhood close to the sights, but feels more local. Many popular restaurants and amenities just down the street. Private parking is safe and secure.

It’s a beautiful apartment. Very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, except for needing more coffee—both regular, decaf and tea. The use of paper towels is necessary as well as napkins.
What could be improved: The lighting in the bathroom was inadequate for application of makeup . Overhead lighting casts shadows. Had to sit on bedroom floor with my small magnifying mirror and that was not comfortable. Needed a magnifying mirror in the bathroom . The hairdryer shut itself off before finishing the job.
