Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Magno Apartments on Calle O’Donnell – the street looked pretty ordinary from the outside. But you know what they say about first impressions being wrong? This place completely surprised me. The moment you step through those doors, you’re hit with this sense of calm that’s hard to find in Seville’s bustling old town. The patios (which, let’s be real, are the whole point of staying here) are these gorgeous interior courtyards that make you feel like you’ve stumbled into someone’s private palace.

The apartments themselves are spacious in a way that’s actually rare for European city centers – I mean, you can spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your suitcase. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the old Andalusian charm while making everything work for modern travelers. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), and the air conditioning actually works, which if you’ve been to Seville in summer, you know is basically a matter of survival. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay, even worked well in the patios where I spent most mornings with coffee.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned without being right in the tourist chaos. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the Cathedral – close enough that you’re not taking taxis everywhere, but far enough that you’re not hearing tour groups at 7 AM. There’s this little café called Bar Santos just around the corner that serves incredible tostadas, and honestly, half the neighborhood seems to start their day there. The area gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, which was perfect for me, though if you’re looking for late-night action, you’ll want to head toward Alameda de Hércules (maybe a 15-minute walk). Parking can be tricky if you’re driving – I’d recommend the underground garage near Plaza de Armas and just walking, but the front desk staff actually helped me figure out the best streets for street parking, which was unexpectedly helpful. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s one of those places that just gets the details right without making a big show of it.

  The property was lovely and spacious. Air-con was great and very quiet. Easy entry to apartment with key code entry. The apartment had a very comfy sofa which made it nice to come back to during the hottest time of the day. The location was perfect for a short city break.

  What a fabulous apartment it looks way better in real life than the photo’s very roomy and well appointed with quality furniture and finishes. Great central location walk easily to everything and very quiet and dark for a good night sleep. Lovely large soft towels in the bathroom. Do not hesitate to book I always do a lot of research when finding a great place to stay and this was winner.
