You know what really caught me off guard about Magno Apartments San Esteban? The fact that you can actually get a decent night’s sleep in the heart of Seville’s old town. I mean, when you’re staying on Calle San Esteban – literally steps from the Cathedral and that maze of narrow streets where tourists wander around looking confused – you’d expect to be dealing with noise until all hours. But honestly, these apartments are tucked away just enough that you get the best of both worlds.

The building itself has this understated elegance that I really appreciated. It’s not trying to be some flashy boutique place, but the attention to detail is there – decent kitchenettes that actually work (rare in European apartments, let’s be honest), and the kind of modern touches that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere thoughtful rather than just convenient. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places where everything just… works. Check-in was smooth, the woman at reception actually knew the neighborhood inside and out, and when I asked about parking – because driving in Seville’s old town is basically a contact sport – she had three different options ready to go.

What really sold me on the location was walking out the door and realizing I could hit Plaza de San Francisco in about two minutes, but I was also close enough to those little tapas bars on Calle Mateos Gago that the locals actually frequent. You’ll probably spend your evenings wandering between the Cathedral area and the Santa Cruz neighborhood anyway, and this spot puts you right in the sweet spot between tourist central and the more authentic corners of the barrio. The apartment felt like a proper home base – somewhere you could actually unpack and settle in for a few days rather than just crash between sightseeing marathons. During the day, you’ll hear the occasional tour group pass by, but by evening it quiets down enough that you can leave the windows open and catch that perfect Seville breeze without feeling like you’re camping out in the middle of a street festival.

  The apartment not only was spacious, but the location was excellent. All the main attractions in the historic old city were within walking distance, and a large supermarket was a scant ten minutes away. The apartment came with all the essentials and then some, and the washing machine and dishwasher were greatly appreciated. I certainly can recommend this apartment without hesitation. Another plus, was the the availability of English language news channels on the television.

  Marta who met us at the apartment was fantastic and so helpful. She gave us a wonderful selection of brilliant restaurants and tapas bars to experience. She was so helpful.

  Very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment providing everything we needed. Perhaps a few notes on how things worked might have helped. Situated in the old town it was a short walk to everything we wanted to see there. We would very happily stay there again!

  A lovely ,comfortable apartment which was very clean and well kept .We were met by a friendly host who also gave us some very useful information about the local area .It was in a central location which was good for cafes, restaurants , monuments and tourist attractions ,whilst maintaining its local charm .

  This was a true gem of a find. The apartment was amazing. On arrival, we were shown round and loved the clean modern look of the place. 2 bathrooms with good showers. Air-conditioning thro out. Needed that as was 32c outside. Loads of storage and a very comfy bed. Cooking facilities were excellent, we did nit.cook but if you wanted it was all there. The location was spot on, about a 10 min walk to the main town, which sounds like too far, for some, but the walk was fine. Right outside the apartment was 5 places to eat if you didn't want to venture out. We had an amazing time, the apartment we will recommend to others and when we come back, and will. We will.stay there again. 5 Stars fantastic ✨️

  The location was ideal for access to cafes, restaurants and transport. Even though the street was busy the apartment was quiet and an easy place in which to relax.

  Everything! The apartment was incredible and our stay was a complete dream. The lady, Tania, who took us into the apartment explained everything really well, even gave us a map to move around the city. The apartment couldn’t be any better, fully equipped with everything you can need/use over q couple of days – even soap for the dishes and detergent to use the washing machine. A/C worked perfectly fine and the interior patio is a great beautiful space. Bed is comfy, sofa is amazing and the bathrooms are super spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and defo will recommend it and repeat in the future.
