You know what caught me off guard about Magno Apartments? I was expecting just another boutique place in Seville’s old quarter, but honestly, this spot feels like someone’s well-connected friend let you crash at their perfectly appointed pied-à-terre. The location on Calle San Luis is pretty much ideal – you’re deep enough in the historic center to feel authentic, but you won’t be dodging tourist groups every time you step outside your door.
The shared jacuzzi situation might sound weird on paper, but it actually works really well. I mean, we’re talking about a rooftop setup where you can soak while looking out over those classic Sevillian rooftops with their terracotta tiles catching the late afternoon light. The other guests we met were cool – mostly couples and solo travelers who appreciated having a chill spot to unwind after walking cobblestones all day. The apartments themselves are spacious in that way that’s rare in European old towns, with actual closet space (thank god) and kitchenettes that are properly equipped. I loved that the decor felt curated but not precious – sort of modern Spanish with touches that felt genuine rather than hotel-y.
What really sold me was the neighborhood vibe. You’re a five-minute walk from the cathedral, sure, but turn the other direction and you’ll find yourself on streets where locals are actually doing their grocery shopping and kids are playing football against old stone walls. There’s this little bar around the corner – I won’t blow up their spot completely, but it’s where we ended up most evenings with a beer and jamón ibérico that cost less than a coffee back home. The staff at Magno seemed to get this balance too; they were genuinely helpful with recommendations but never pushy, and they clearly knew their way around the city beyond just the obvious tourist stops. Parking is tricky (it’s the old town, what do you expect?), but they sorted us out with a spot that was walkable. The 9.1 rating makes total sense to me – this isn’t trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it nails what it’s going for: a comfortable base that feels connected to the real city, with that little luxury touch of the jacuzzi to make you feel like you’re treating yourself right.

This property was spotless with all amenities needed.
Little touches such as a bottle of wine and toiletries were a lovely added touch .
What could be improved: n/a as there was nothing to dislike.

Lovely apartment, within 15-20 min walk of most main sites. Staff were amazingly helpful and quick at responding both before and during our stay! Lovely hot showers, roof terrace was nice but didn’t really get time to use it much. Overall lovely stay, highly recommend

A stunning property that has been tastefully renovated recently. The owner and his family welcomed us personally, providing exceptional hospitality. They offered invaluable advice on nearby attractions, arranged taxis for our excursions, and even organized our airport drop-off.
The property itself is a beautifully renovated rice mill that has been in the family for around 800 years. It was truly special to stay in such a historic place that offers all modern comforts. From the charming decor to the comfortable amenities, everything was perfect.

Very nice neighborhood & next to the Macarena Church. Lots of lovely taverns & shops in a walking distance so we experienced a nice authentic part of town. The elevator was helpful as we had large luggage. Very clean and spacious Appartment with a well equipped kitchen
