Hotel Description
I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment hotel, but Magno Apartments San Laureano completely changed my mind about this type of accommodation. The moment you walk into the building on Calle San Laureano, you realize this isn’t your typical tourist trap. It’s actually tucked into one of those narrow streets in Seville’s old town where locals still hang their laundry from wrought-iron balconies, and you can hear the clip-clop of horse carriages echoing off the ancient walls.
What really sold me on this place was the parking situation – and I mean, if you’ve ever tried to navigate Seville’s old town with a rental car, you know what a nightmare that can be. Having your own private parking spot included is honestly worth its weight in gold here. The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s place than a hotel room. Mine had this gorgeous tiled floor (typical Andalusian style, you know what I mean) and windows that opened onto the street below. Sure, it gets a bit lively in the evenings when people are heading to the tapas bars, but that’s part of the charm – you’re right in the heart of everything without being on one of those crazy touristy streets where you can’t move for tour groups.
The location is actually perfect for exploring on foot. You’re maybe a five-minute walk from the Cathedral (though honestly, who’s counting when you’re wandering through those maze-like streets), and the Alcázar is right there too. But here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you – some of the best little bars and restaurants are literally around the corner. There’s this tiny place two streets over where locals go for breakfast, and the coffee is incredible. The building itself has character – I mean, we’re talking about a restored historical building, so don’t expect modern hotel sterility. The walls are thick (great for keeping cool in Seville’s brutal summer heat), and there’s something really satisfying about staying somewhere with actual history instead of some generic chain hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the staff actually gave me useful recommendations instead of just handing over a tourist brochure. They pointed me toward a great little market nearby and warned me about which streets get crowded during peak hours – the kind of insider knowledge that makes a real difference when you’re exploring a new city.

Beautiful apartment exactly as described and shown by photos.
Location is ideal, easy walking distance to everywhere and for transport at plaza de armes.
I stayed for 4 weeks and there was a full weekly clean including sheets and towel change.
They were prompt at responding to problems, such as:
There was a problem with the oven and they sent someone promptly to resolve.
There was a problem with my door code at one point and I couldn’t enter the property, they sent someone quite quickly to resolve.
What could be improved: The only complaint I have is that during my stay a man entered the property. He used the same key code as I was given. He was clearly someone booked to stay as he had a suitcase with him. Luckily I was in to explain I was staying. He apologised and left. I reported it immediately and their response was that ‘it’s a coincidence he used the same code’. I disagreed, of course, it was clearly an admin error but for a female traveller it was unnerving that a stranger could enter.Michele from United Kingdom – 3 December 2024 (8/10)
Beautiful location, in a converted convent! Lovely gardens inside a quadrangle.
The apartment was on the first floor & there was a lift to get our luggage up there. Spacious apartment on 2 levels
The kitchen had all the appliances we could have needed & more!
Although the apartment is not right in the centre of Seville (still only a 15/20 min walk into the centre) the bonus is that it's quite close to Triana which is a very trendy lively neighbourhood of Seville with lots of lovely bars & restaurants
What could be improved: A cafetiere to make coffee with would have been useful
This didn't matter to us but I thought I'd mention that the apartment would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues as although the living room and kitchen are downstairs, the bedroom & bathroom are up a spiral-ish staircaseYasmin_sa from South Africa – 7 October 2024 (8/10)
The complex was beautiful and peaceful with a very charming courtyard.
We didn't make use of everything the apartment had to offer since we were only there for 1 night.
What could be improved: It's not suitable accommodation if you have a toddler because of the staircase.Janet from New Zealand – 7 October 2024 (9/10)
the ease of walking into the main centre. The availability of places to eat close by. The coffee pods for the machine. First place on our trip to Europe that they were available with the machine – thank you. The very helpful receptionist. Victoria not only helped with access to the apartment, she also gave us ideas on where to visit and how to sort the wifi.
What could be improved: Being tired and trying to access the main door using a system that we had never seen before. Very frustrating but the receptionist was very patient and helpful. There wasn't a book of how the apartment worked which would have been useful – how to use the washing machine – thank goodness for google translate, the TV and where to find the iron!Maigen from Australia – 17 September 2024 (8/10)
Was a wonderful place to stay, we loved how close it was to everything!!

Excellent location, beautiful building, spacious, 2 floors, walkable to everything a tourist would want to see and do, parking included, but instructions should be provided prior to arrival. Washer and dryer available in the suite. Quiet location perfect for families.
What could be improved: Water temperature inconsistent in the shower. Goes from normal hot to freezing cold suddenly. Lots of ants throughout the apartment especially in the kitchen, on the counters, floors, all over. Can be difficult to bring luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor. There's a skylight in the bedroom but no window covering so the sun shines in bright and early in the morningKatarzyna from Poland – 28 July 2024 (9/10)
Great location, very nice & clean apartment. Comfortable place to spend few days

We were there with my wife and we can recommend this place. Many things were great and our staying there were exellent. Tania was great help and took very good care of us, big thanks to her!
Just one thing, when you get out carage, turn left! We didn t 🫣, one way but we were lucky!!David from United States – 26 April 2024 (8/10)
Location and clean and modern convenience
What could be improved: Access to apartment through keyless lock was a major issue. It was hard to enter the apt with the code system. The lock would not open the door after entering the code. Had to have a technician come out the next day after the manager came the first night to look into the issue.Callum from Australia – 6 June 2025 (8/10)
Very well serviced and comfortable. Also well located.
What could be improved: There were no plates to eat from, only a couple of bowls. Maybe someone had broken them, as the rest of the kitchen was well equipped; but they hadn’t been replaced. As a serviced apartment, you’d expect there to be plates.
