Hotel Description
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in Seville, and the Melia Lebreros honestly surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on Luis de Morales in the Nervión area – which, if you’re not familiar with Seville, is sort of this residential-business district that feels more like where actual Sevillanos live and work rather than where tourists usually end up. And you know what? That’s exactly why it works.
The thing about this place is that it gets the balance right between being a proper hotel and not feeling like you’re stuck in some tourist bubble. I mean, sure, it’s a 4-star chain property, so you’re getting reliable wifi, decent air conditioning (crucial in Seville summers, trust me), and rooms that actually have enough space to unpack your suitcase properly. But the real win here is the location – you’re maybe a 15-minute walk from the cathedral and all that, but you’re also surrounded by tapas bars that locals actually go to. There’s this little place around the corner where I had some of the best jamón I’ve ever tasted, and the bartender barely spoke English, which honestly made it even better.
The hotel itself has this sort of understated elegance thing going on – nothing too flashy, but the lobby’s got these marble floors that stay cool even when it’s blazing outside, and the staff actually seems to know their stuff about the city. I remember asking about flamenco shows (yeah, I know, tourist move), and instead of just handing me a brochure, the guy at reception told me about this smaller venue in Triana that was having a performance that weekend. Parking’s included too, which – if you’ve ever tried to navigate Seville’s old town with a rental car – you’ll appreciate more than you think. The breakfast is solid without being anything to write home about, but honestly, when you’re this close to proper Sevillano breakfast spots, you’d be crazy to eat at the hotel anyway. What I really loved was coming back after long days of wandering around the Alcázar or getting lost in Santa Cruz neighborhood – the rooms are quiet (double-glazed windows actually work), the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress, and there’s something to be said for having a proper shower with decent water pressure after walking around in 40-degree heat all day.

What could be improved: Food was great but a bit priceyPhilip from United Kingdom – 29 May 2025 (9/10)
Staff were all good, friendly and efficient. The room was good, although a few small things included in our confirmation were not actually included but these were minor and caused no issues. The hotel facilities were excellent. Location is good for getting into the main city with a tram stop just down the road but we also enjoyed a few bars and restaurants around the hotel. The massive El Corte Ingles store over the road with a supermarket in the basement was also very handy. A pleasant stay in a really beautiful, civilised city.
What could be improved: Not the hotel's fault but the weather at the end of May is very very hot, mainly 30-36C when we were there but now (the day after we returned home) the temperature will be 40/41C for a few days. We would not return at this time of year.Jennifer from United Kingdom – 24 May 2025 (9/10)
Breakfast was great. The hotel is not far from the train station. It’s a longer walk into the Old City.
