You know what struck me first about Minty Stay – Palmera? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – there’s this fresh, clean vibe that hits you the moment you walk in, and honestly, it feels like someone put real thought into creating a space that doesn’t try too hard to be fancy but still feels special. The location on Calle Periodista Ramón Resa is one of those addresses that sounds intimidating until you realize you’re perfectly positioned in Bellavista-Palmera, which (if you haven’t been to Seville before) is far enough from the tourist chaos of the cathedral area but close enough that you’re not spending half your day getting anywhere.

I mean, this isn’t one of those sterile chain hotels where every room could be anywhere in the world – the design feels distinctly Sevillian without beating you over the head with tile patterns and fake flamenco guitars. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake, and the beds are actually good (you’d be surprised how many 4-star places mess this up). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re in a proper neighborhood where real people live and work. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no complicated key card systems that never work right. The staff clearly knows the area well; they gave me restaurant recommendations that weren’t the obvious tourist traps, including this little tapas place about a ten-minute walk away that I never would’ve found otherwise.

Here’s the thing about the Bellavista-Palmera location that booking sites don’t really explain well – you’re close enough to walk to the river, the bus connections into central Seville are actually better than from some of the more “central” hotels, and there’s real neighborhood life happening around you. I loved walking to the local market in the mornings, grabbing coffee from places where I was the only non-Spanish speaker, then heading back to plan the day. The hotel sits in this sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing actual Seville instead of tourist Seville, but you’re not sacrificing comfort or convenience. That 8.9 rating feels about right – it’s the kind of place that does everything well without any major surprises, good or bad. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’ve discovered something rather than just booked something, this works really well.

  Great spacious and comfortable apartment Despite the issues we encountered, the apartment was amazing.
  
  What could be improved: Many items in the apartment did not work properly including the shudders to darken the rooms. This was fixed very quickly by the excellent management team.

  Lovely apartment, great size for family of 4. 40 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride into city centre. Close to supermarkets and local shops. Had everything we needed, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine.

  The property was in very good condition. It was clean and had all the necessities. The check in process was smooth as the instructions provided were in-detail. Accommodation is in a good locality. The customer help was prompt in replying to the asked queries.
  
  What could be improved: The toiletries provided was not enough for big group for a week booking. So we had to buy at the end as upon asking it was informed that they just provide small quantity.

  Excellent location & very comfortable. Easy to get into the city. Quiet at night. Hosts very amazing to deal with extremely helpful when we needed an early check in. Highly recommend.
