Look, I’ll be straight with you – when I first saw the address on Plaza Buen Suceso, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. The square isn’t one of those touristy spots everyone talks about, but that’s actually what makes this place pretty special. You’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town, maybe a three-minute walk from the Cathedral (I timed it), but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that camp out near the more famous plazas. The building itself has that classic Sevillian feel – you know, the kind where you walk through this narrow entrance and suddenly open up into something unexpectedly spacious.

The duplex setup is where things get interesting. Downstairs you’ve got your living area and kitchen, which honestly feels bigger than most hotel rooms I’ve stayed in around here. The kitchen’s actually functional too – not just some decorative setup with a mini-fridge. I mean, you could legitimately cook a proper meal if you wanted to skip the restaurants for a night (though why would you in Seville?). But the real star is upstairs on that terrace they mention in the name. It’s not huge, but it catches the evening light perfectly, and you can see over the rooftops toward the Giralda. There’s something about having coffee up there in the morning, listening to the city wake up below, that just works. The only thing I’d mention is that sound carries a bit in the old town – you’ll hear some street noise, especially on weekends when people are walking back from the bars around Alfalfa (which is literally around the corner, by the way).

What really sold me on this place is how it feels like you’re actually living in Seville for a few days rather than just visiting. Your neighbors are locals doing their grocery shopping at the little markets on Calle Feria, not other tourists. You’ll probably run into the same bartender at the corner café a few times, and honestly, that’s when you know you’ve found a good spot. The whole area has this lived-in authenticity that you don’t get when you’re staying near the main drags. Plus, you’re still close enough to everything that matters – the Alcázar is maybe an eight-minute walk, and if you want to venture into Triana for dinner, it’s an easy stroll across the Isabel II bridge. The apartment sleeps five comfortably, which is perfect for families or groups who want space to spread out without paying resort prices. Just a heads up though – like most places in the old town, parking can be a bit of a puzzle, so maybe plan on walking or using taxis if you’re driving in.

    The owner is very nice and helpful. Issue with Internet solved fast. Great location, good facilities, spacious apartment. I recommend that placenfor group of friends or family. Great stay!

    What could be improved: Its nothing to dislike. However, just to clarify: The third bedroom was a bed on the way to the terrace. Not a big problem, just not a totally separate place.

    Great location, we were here for 7 days The apartment was wonderful everything we needed was here.
    It was exceptionally hot this week so we could not use the attic single bedroom , my daughter slept in the living room instead.

    What could be improved: Description could have been clearer that 5th bed was located on mezzanine on top floor, but bed is comfortable

    In my opinion the location could not be better. The terrace is lovely and the separate floors give great privacy if you are a group of people.
    The host is very friendly and responsive.

    What could be improved: Some of the facilities start to be a bit worn-out. For example the doors make horrible sounds and don’t open/close properly. The downstairs shower works well but upstairs can’t keep the water pressure when turned to warm, fridge shelf is broken with an sharp edge, sunbeds are either dirty or worn-out and so on. Nothing big, but all together makes the experience good, not excellent 🙂

    the appartment has a lot of space and the roof terrace is really nice! the location is very good and everything is in walking distance. There is a nice playground and restaurants around the corner. Everything was very clean

    Well located. Spacious apartment. Good roof terrace. Comfortable furniture and beds.
    Very secure entry etc but a safe would be nice.
    Problem with bin etc quickly sorted by management.
    Very quiet despite central location.

    What could be improved: Kitchen- very basic- only one chopping board, no bread board, no electric kettle , no power adaptor so one socket for toaster and coffee machine, no sink plug so bought one.The oven was old and didn’t work well. The fridge was very poor with missing shelf and broken handle. Kitchen needs a refit! The dishwasher and washing machine worked well.

    The apartment was spacious and fully equipped kitchen with everything needed. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the roof terrace, which had plenty of shade throughout the day.

    The location was great next to many bars and restaurants and close to other points of interest.

    What could be improved: The WiFi although connected was without the Internet, so couldn't really use it. The only other thing I would suggest is more instructions within the apartment on how to use air con, WiFi, and other appliances, spent a bit of time just trying to work out bits. Having said this, the host was on hand to answer any questions via what's app and responded very quickly. Lastly, I would recommend sending the door entry codes through WhatsApp, It was a little difficult on arrival, trying to hear and understand codes given by telephone. It would have been much easier to send through what's app rather than us having to call for the codes.
