You know what? I’ve walked past this place on Conde de Torrejón about a dozen times before I ever actually stayed there, and honestly, I was always curious about what was behind that elegant facade. The Misterhost Conde de Torrejón sits right in the heart of Sevilla’s old town – I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the cathedral, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague some of the hotels closer to the main squares.

The building itself has this lovely traditional Andalusian feel without being too precious about it. When you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm that’s pretty remarkable given you’re in one of the busiest tourist areas in Spain. The staff actually seem to know what they’re doing (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in Sevilla), and I appreciated that they didn’t hover but were genuinely helpful when I needed recommendations. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid four-star – nothing revolutionary, but thoughtfully designed with enough space to actually unpack your suitcase. What really won me over was the attention to sound insulation. I was worried about noise since you’re right in the centro histórico, but even during Semana Santa week (which is basically controlled chaos in this city), I could actually sleep.

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – the location gives you the best of both worlds. You can stumble back from a late dinner in Santa Cruz without needing a taxi, but you’re also perfectly positioned to explore beyond the tourist bubble. The Alameda area is maybe a ten-minute walk, which is where you’ll find some of the best tapas bars that locals actually frequent. And if you’re planning to do any serious cathedral or Alcázar visits, you can literally pop back to your room between sites, which is a game-changer during the brutal summer months. I also have to mention that parking in this area is notoriously terrible, but they’ve got arrangements with nearby garages that actually work – trust me on this one, it matters more than you think. The 8.5 rating feels about right; it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. For the price point and location, you’re getting solid value, especially if you’re someone who wants to experience authentic Sevilla without sacrificing comfort.

  Lovely 3 storey apartment which is very spacious and clean with lovely comfortable beds and pillows, and apartment is well stocked with everything you need, it is set in a beautiful courtyard and has a shared roof top terrace and is situated in a fantastic location with plenty of bars and restaurants. Very good communication with owners and would definitely stay here again.

  The location was honestly hard to beat – it was a close walk to nearly every point of interest we were wanting to see. It was also nice to have separate spaces for all people in our party, and the beds were fairly comfortable. The host was also easy to get a hold off, and extremely kind and communicative. I would definitely recommend these place to anyone visiting Seville 🙂
  
  What could be improved: We had to be a bit careful with the shower on the upper level – if you turned the water too high, the water would flood out onto the bathroom floor. With that being said, so long as you are aware of the issue, it's fine. There also appears to be a few broken supports on the spiral staircase of the handrail leading to the highest room, so we tried not to use it for support while ascending and descending. We did not mention either of these issues to the host, but I am sure if we had, he would have worked to remedy them. Neither of these were a particularly big deal to our party though, so we weren't too concerned, and it did not negatively impact our stay in any way.

  Good clean apartment. Very spacious. Plenty of power socket. Has washing machine, coffee machine. Good location (walking distance to eateries, groceries, and attractions). Free wifi with good connection. 2 keys provided. Just be mindful to read through the details that there are only stairs to access bedrooms (1 bedroom per floor). And no locks for bedroom or bathroom but we dont mind this at all.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet on the top floor needs more ventilation. The gate is slightly difficult to open (you need to read the instructions very carefully) but you will get the hang of it after a few try. Parking not included (quite common when you want airbnb in the centre).

  spacious house, well located, good contact (thanks for permitting us to enter a few hours in advance), good services (kitchen, beds, air-conditioned/heating).
  
  What could be improved: maybe a microwave in the kitchen and some Pyrex for the oven. Also, it would be nice to have a curtain in the window of the room on 3rd floor (which looks at the room on the 2nd floor)

  Bedrooms – no door on ensuite bathroom- the smell from broken sewerage on toilet was overwhelming
  No door on middle bedroom and no door at all on top floor bedroom meaning no privacy
  Dark environment and not what we hoped for on potentially our last holiday.
  It was very expensive for the ocerall quality of the appartment
