Hotel Description

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first turned onto Calle Castilla – it’s one of those narrow Triana streets that looks pretty unremarkable from the outside. But then you step into Misterhost Triana Patio de las Flores and, well, the name suddenly makes perfect sense. There’s this gorgeous central patio that’s absolutely loaded with flowers, and I mean properly loaded – bougainvillea climbing the walls, potted geraniums everywhere, the works. It’s like someone’s grandmother went completely overboard with the gardening, in the best possible way.

What I love about this place is that it feels properly Sevillian without trying too hard. You’re right in the heart of Triana, which means you can walk to the Mercado de Triana in about three minutes (grab coffee there in the morning, trust me), and the whole Isabel II bridge thing to get into the city center is maybe a five-minute stroll. But here’s the thing – and this is something you only figure out after staying in Seville a few times – Triana actually stays cooler in the evenings because of the river breeze. The hotel’s patio catches that breeze perfectly, so you can sit out there with a drink even when it’s been scorching all day. The rooms are decent – I mean, it’s a renovated traditional house so they’re not massive, but they’ve got proper air conditioning (crucial in summer) and the beds are actually comfortable. The WiFi works, which isn’t always a given in these older buildings, and somehow they’ve managed to keep the charm while making everything function properly.

The staff really know their stuff too – not in that overly rehearsed way, but like they genuinely live here and can tell you which tapas bar won’t rip you off, or that the best time to visit the Catedral is actually late afternoon when the light hits it just right. I asked about parking and they sorted me out with a spot nearby (street parking in Triana is… well, it’s an adventure), and when I mentioned I was meeting friends for dinner, they suggested this little place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. You know what really sold me though? The morning routine. There’s something about having your coffee in that flower-filled patio, listening to the neighborhood waking up – kids heading to school, shopkeepers opening up, the occasional flamenco guitar drifting from someone’s window. It’s exactly what you imagine Seville should feel like, except it’s real, not some tourist fantasy. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it absolutely nails what it sets out to do.

  • Lara from Zambia – 24 May 2025 (9/10)

This apartment is exceptional value for money! Everything is so clean and modern. It’s very comfortable and plenty of space. The outdoor courtyard gives a feeling of extra space and a lovely welcoming home when returning.
It’s ideally situated with many lovely restaurants close by and the food market. And all the main attractions are just a short walk over the bridge. However inside the flat it’s completely quiet at night! Just perfect.

  • Tracye from Canada – 2 March 2025 (9/10)

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment felt bright and spacious. The windows opened up to let a nice breeze through. The kitchen was great for simple meals and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The location was incredible and quiet with lovely restaurants, bars and coffee shops. An easy walk over the bridge and we were along lovely river paths and many sights and attractions. The check in was very easy. Our hosts were great to communicate.

What could be improved: A recommendation to hosts would be to add a second mirror in the apartment and a laundry drying rack. There is a dehumidifier in the unit which was great as it was incredibly humid while we were there.

  • Karen from United Kingdom – 21 October 2024 (9/10)

The apartment was spotless and beautifully presented. Well laid out with all amenities. The location was perfect. Many bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk within the old area. Yet it was very quiet through the night. The Cathedral and Castle area was only a 15-minute walk across the river.

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • German from Uruguay – 28 September 2024 (9/10)

Location and the apt is well equipped. It is located in Triana, a very nice and quiet area, 15-20’ walk to the Cathedral.

  • David from United Kingdom – 19 July 2024 (9/10)

I liked the layout and facilities, the fact that I could be independent. I could have food in the fridge, so mornings were relaxed, and I didn't have to go anywhere to have breakfast. There are plenty of nice restaurants, bars, food market and a supermarket close by. The centre of town isn’t far away, but Triana is quieter at night, which is nice. The apartment is in a gated area filled with plants, which is lovely.

What could be improved: I can't think of anything I would say I didn't like.

  • Juliet from Australia – 15 December 2023 (9/10)

Although Triana isn’t in the busy hub of Seville, it is a perfect spot to be based for five days. The apartment was perfect for our needs, the wifi was fantastic, and the kitchen very well supplied. Great to have a washing machine as well! We were very comfortable. Having many restaurants nearby, plus the market, means you’re never going hungry. We were also surprised by two incredible religious processions that took place while were there.

What could be improved: Nothing, although it’s worth noting that you will need a mobile phone with data to be able to access the property.

  • Elaine from United Kingdom – 17 October 2023 (9/10)

We loved staying in Triana for our 4 night trip to Seville. This lovely apartment is only a few steps from Triana market and just around the corner from the famous Puente de Isabel so all the attractions of Seville are within walking distance. There are numerous tabernas and restaurants in the neighbourhood (we particularly recommend La Botica across the road; superb food and friendly staff). Despite all the local amenities, the property was very quiet and a perfect retreat for siesta time. (Also very amusing to come out in the morning and see people trying to take photos of "our" patio through the private gate; apparently it's part of a walking tour). We'll hopefully be back again in the not too distant future!

What could be improved: We liked everything but keep in mind that Triana isn't really a "late night cocktail bar" kind of neighbourhood so depends on what people want. (There are however plenty of them just across the bridge!)

  • Debbie from United States – 15 October 2023 (9/10)

Excellent Location Close to but outside the main part of the Triana so very quiet If you have a car, parking in the lot is quite expensive Apartment has everything you need including a washing machine Excellent set up Sara, my Host was very communicative and helpful and easy to reach

    What could be improved: nothing

  • Steve from United Kingdom – 26 March 2023 (9/10)

The property was in a gated community in the heart of the city. Very close to bars, restaurants and a market. All amenities were close by.
The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. A delightful place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of a few days in Seville.

What could be improved: There were no negatives.

  • Andrey from Russia – 8 December 2022 (9/10)

Excellent apartment, very clean, equipped with everything necessary for living. Very nice and cozy patio. Great location, 15 minutes walk to the city center, 10 minutes to the bus station. I recommend the apartment, no doubt…
