Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Seville, and this Modern apartment on Luis Montoto genuinely surprised me. You know what’s funny? The name sounds so generic, but the location is actually perfect – you’re right in Nervión, which honestly feels more like where locals live than where tourists usually end up. And I mean that in the best way possible.

The apartment itself is clean and modern (hence the name, I guess), but what really got me was how quiet it stays despite being on a fairly busy street. Luis Montoto can get pretty lively, especially during the day with all the shops and cafes, but once you’re inside, it’s peaceful. The building seems well-insulated, which is something you don’t always get in these older Seville neighborhoods. Check-in was smooth – the owner actually lives nearby and was super helpful about pointing out the good tapas spots that aren’t in every guidebook. There’s this little place called Bar Santos just around the corner that does incredible montaditos, and honestly, I probably wouldn’t have found it without their recommendation.

What I really loved about staying here is that you’re close enough to walk to the center (maybe 15-20 minutes to the Cathedral if you’re not in a hurry), but you’re also near the train station, which is clutch if you’re doing day trips to Córdoba or Granada. The Nervión area has this nice mix of residential feel with actual amenities – there’s a Mercadona supermarket like five minutes away, plus some great local markets where you can grab fresh produce and jamón. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but there are a couple of public lots nearby if you’re driving. The apartment gets great light in the mornings, and the kitchen is actually functional (not just for show like some places). I made coffee there every morning and it felt… well, it felt like staying somewhere real rather than just passing through. The 9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to experience Seville like someone who actually lives there.

  Very conveniently located between Santa Justa train station and the historic centre it is a very comfortable apartment totally refurbished with all you need for your stay in a building with a patio and azulejos.

  Such a clean modern apartment.We were only there for 1 night so a very short stay.Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very conveniently located near train station, with lovelly local bars on the corner, safe area.

  It provides almost every equipment that someone may need in a trip.
  
  What could be improved: There was no fly whisk. People in charge don’t talk english, it was hard to communicate but they were helpful.

  Location was perfect only 15 minutes walk away from center. The apartment was okay overall, but there were a few issues. For example, the sponge for washing dishes was dirty and seemed quite old. The bed linen was damp and had a large stain on it, probably from laundry detergent. Also, the bathroom had a slightly unpleasant smell.
  Owners were very nice and helpful.
