You know what struck me first about this place on Calle Goyeneta? It’s actually tucked into one of those narrow Old Town streets where you can hear church bells from the Cathedral in the morning, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos that hits around Plaza de Armas. I mean, Goyeneta is literally a five-minute walk from all the major sights, but it feels like you’ve found this little pocket of actual Seville life.

The apartment itself is honestly what modern Seville living should look like – clean lines, good air conditioning (trust me, you’ll need it from May through September), and that seasonal pool situation is pretty sweet. They’re smart about the pool timing too, because honestly, who wants to swim in Seville in February anyway? The one bedroom setup works perfectly for couples, and I’ve seen friends make it work with a kid on an air mattress. The bathroom is compact but well-designed, and the kitchen has everything you’d actually use – not just decorative stuff that looks good in photos. What I really appreciate is how they’ve managed to keep the space feeling spacious despite being in a building that’s probably centuries old.

Here’s the thing about staying in this part of the Old Town – you’re going to hear some street noise, especially on weekends when locals are out late (which is every weekend, because this is Spain). But that’s also part of why I love this location. You’re actually in the neighborhood, not in some sterile hotel district. The nearest grocery store is maybe two blocks away, there’s a fantastic little tapas place around the corner that doesn’t even have a sign, and you can walk to the Alcázar before the tour groups arrive if you get moving by 9 AM. Parking is… well, it’s the Old Town, so forget about street parking and budget for one of the public garages nearby. The hosts are pretty good about sending you exact directions because, honestly, GPS gets confused in these medieval streets. I’d say this place hits that sweet spot where you get modern comfort without losing the authentic Seville experience – plus that 4-star rating feels about right for what you’re getting.

  What could be improved: The heating system is working sometimes.Apparently is set to heat the house until certain temperature .

  the location and quality of the apartment was great, kept in great condition and with everything you could need – apart from a swimming pool!
  
  What could be improved: We were told that the hosts would meet us at the property but when we got there (after walking from the bus with our suitcases) they informed us we had to walk even further to collect the keys, when they were only a 6 minute walk away i feel they could have met us, considering they didnt have suitcases to lug about with them!
  also the swimming pool was shut when we arrived, we were informed on arrival that it is only open from april-september but this is not advertised on booking.com so i felt that was misleading. also, it was 35 degrees when we arrived, so a pool would have been nice.

  The location is beyond perfect – walking distance to the most prominent monuments yet it is quiet and peaceful at night – amazing!
  The flat as such is very modern, beautifully arranged.
  If you want to be cooking – you will probably need all the essentials such as salt and pepper etc, as its not included.
  
  Otherwise a fantastic accommodation I would recommend to anyone with high standards.

  Apartment clean et very well equiped even if didn't use the equipment.
  
  What could be improved: I chose this apartment especially for the pool, but the water was green and very dirty on my arrival day on the 15th of may 2023…. actually because the pool wasn't open yet. No one warned me about this, and no information was given in the booking details about the open dates of the pool. I told the host about it but she told me that everything was specified in the details, which is fully wrong. In the comment section, someone asked about the opening dates and the host answered "open until october 2023". Moreover in 2022 the pool opened in may, that's why I thought the pool was accessible on my booking dates. I asked for a partial refund for this inconvient and for the wrong informations. The host did nothing about it and didn't admit her fault. Some other apartments with the same comfort and location, but no pool, were way cheaper than this one. I feel like i've been stinged.
  Another point, the shower is very unwell designed, and the bathroom transforms into a puddle at each use.

  What could be improved: Whole reason for booking this was due to being with a pool but wasn't made clear anywhere in the info that it was actually closed for the season extremely disappointed,getting rid of rubbish especially recycling was a shambles.
  Issue with shower hose fitting didn't hold it properly when I went to reach it I burnt myself on hot metal tap be very careful with getting near it .

  location was perfect, mins away from the centre. property had all the basic amenities such as washer-dryer, hob, utensils, fridge and cleaning products, everything that the family could need for a week long stay. staff was very polite and helped with late checkin, extra requests with a babycot and answering all the questions on their whatsapp account.
  
  What could be improved: pool was not open, and we specifically booked for the pool access, but we were told its seasonal, not sure why April is not considered in the season. more clarity on the dates of pool would have helped.
  
  The apartment we got was on the ground floor, no sunlight or view unfortunately. we had a toddler with us and she was bored inside a lot, so we had to constantly take her outside. overall size can be small for a family.

  Super emplacement, au calme, dans une rue piétonne en retrait et idéalement située, on a tout fait à pied avec nos enfants! Appartement très cosy et très propre, on a apprécié le fait que le lit du canapé lit soit déjà fait à notre arrivée dans le nuit, merci à Mariana pour son chaleureux accueil (à noter le supplément de 30€ à payer sur place pour une arrivée tardive découvert au moment du Check in mais compte tenu du fait qu’une personne a attendu notre arrivée jusqu’à plus de 2h du matin pour nous accueillir on comprend tout à fait). On recommande sans hésiter et on n’hésitera pas à revenir!
