I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the cathedral’s bells (which, honestly, you’ll either love or learn to tune out during your afternoon siesta), but the apartment itself sits on a street that feels genuinely lived-in rather than touristy.

The “moderno” part isn’t just marketing speak – whoever renovated this place actually understood how to blend contemporary comfort with those gorgeous Andalusian bones. The ceilings are properly high, which is a godsend during Seville’s brutal summer months, and there’s this lovely interplay between original tile work and updated fixtures that doesn’t feel forced. What really got me was the attention to practical details… decent water pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think in old Spanish buildings), reliable wifi, and – this is key – proper blackout options for the windows because those narrow streets can get surprisingly bright early in the morning. The 8.7 rating makes total sense when you consider that most guests probably weren’t expecting this level of thoughtful renovation in what could easily have been another generic rental.

Location-wise, you’re in that sweet spot where you can stumble home from tapas in Santa Cruz without dealing with a taxi, but you’re not trapped in the tourist bubble either. There’s a little market around the corner on Calle Feria (Thursday mornings are absolute chaos in the best way), and you’ll find yourself walking past the same neighborhood bar where old men nurse their morning coffee and debate football with genuine passion. The building itself has that particular Sevillian rhythm – things get quiet during siesta hours, then there’s this gentle hum of conversation floating up from the street as evening approaches. Parking is… well, it’s what you’d expect in the historic center, which is to say forget about it and embrace walking everywhere. But honestly, that’s part of the charm – you’ll discover tiny plazas and hidden churches that you’d never notice from a car window anyway.

  A great place, walking distance to the city centre. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms, airconditioning.
  A very safe place, access from the street through a locked gate. Gaby, who met us, was bery helpful as well as Raphael.

  The apartment is nicely decorated, clean and very well equipped. The location is good, there are many restaurants, supermarkets, bars nearby. The communication with the host and instructions of the place are quite efficient and clear.
  
  What could be improved: This is not a host’s problem – Inside the apartment, it is possible to hear the noise from the neighbors and the street. This is not an issue during the day but it might be not so good if you’re a “light sleeper”.

  La casa era come nelle foto, accogliente e spaziosa. Si può migliorare la pulizia e qualche difetto negli accessori, tipo la ventola del bagno rotta e qualche gancio appendi asciugamano rotti. Per 3 persone il letto alla Francese è troppo piccolo per starci in due. Ma nel complesso ottima esperienza.
