Okay, so MonKeys Apartments PinoLoft in the Macarena Norte area – honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect with that name, but it turned out to be a pretty solid choice. The building sits on Calle Estrella Mira, which is this quiet residential street that feels authentically Sevillian without being touristy. You know what I mean? It’s where actual people live, not just vacation rental central.

The apartment itself has this modern loft vibe that works really well – clean lines, decent space, and they’ve clearly put thought into the layout. What I appreciated most was how they managed to keep it feeling homey rather than sterile. The kitchen’s actually functional (I made coffee every morning without wanting to throw things), and the Wi-Fi didn’t make me want to scream, which honestly puts it ahead of half the places I’ve stayed in Spain. The whole setup feels like someone’s cool friend let you crash at their place rather than a generic hotel room. It’s a 4-star rating and I’d say that’s about right – comfortable and well-maintained without being fancy.

Location-wise, you’re in Macarena Norte, which gives you this nice balance of being close enough to walk into the historic center but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the crowds and noise every single day. I mean, it’s maybe a 20-minute walk to the cathedral area, or you can hop on the metro – there’s a stop not too far away. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel with little bars where locals actually hang out, a few grocery stores that aren’t tourist traps, and you’ll hear actual Spanish conversations on the street corners. Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the center, which matters if you’re driving (though honestly, you probably don’t need a car once you’re here). The 7.7 rating seems fair – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it does what it promises without any major surprises. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially if I wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like I was actually living in Seville for a few days.

  Big apartment for 2 people, good location, bus to city center two steps away. Apartment offers everything you need. Free public parking near apartment on the street. Big Recommend.

  Good apartment, perfect for couple of days stay. Good bathroom, easy parking on the street. Easy public transport access.
  
  What could be improved: Bed structure was not secured properly. We didn't find any dish soap or sponge, cooking or olive oil, sugar – these are some basic esentials for an apartment.

  ticked the boxes for what we needed – reasonably priced, easy access to Seville, dog friendly and easy to park the car. very clean property with a basic kitchen that mostly met our needs.
  
  What could be improved: kitchen did not come with any basics for cooking, like salt, pepper, oil. This is just a really nice addition that makes travelling so much easier.

  located in a very safe and quiet neighbourhood, very nice apartment, well furnished and kitchenette is good and even has a kettle. wifi is fast! staff were very helpful when I got locked in the apartment, they arrived within 20 minutes and helped me to escape 🙂 very good communication from staff during check in as well.
  
  What could be improved: it is slightly further out from the centre than I expected, and although it is a quiet street, you can really hear when people walk past as the front of the apartment is not too soundproof. there is only 1 mirror in the property, I think I would’ve liked a full length one too. Finally, the shower temperature gets way too hot at a certain point, it will boil you!

  On the positive side, it offers convenient amenities like an automatic door for easy access, clean white sheets and towels that add a touch of freshness, a kettle for a quick brew, and free parking on the street. Additionally, the provision of shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner is a thoughtful touch.
  
  What could be improved: The shower draining seems to be an issue, which can be inconvenient. Moreover, there's noticeable noise from the pipes within the house, and street noise can also be disruptive considering it's a ground floor stay. I would have liked to have some slippers for extra comfort taking into consideration the fact that it was cold when we visited and the floor has tiles.

  The apartment was excellent. It has everything you need for short visit to Seville. I highly recommend this place for staying.
  
  What could be improved: It was cca. 30 minutes away from the center but it is not a problem when is Seville in question because it is such a beautiful city that is all worth it.

  Apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood with some shops close by. Street parking available, but not reserved. About 40 min from city centre by bus.
  
  What could be improved: The door is electronic, with access through a phone app, the link to which the apartment sent on check-in. This crashed on the last day of the stay, meaning the access door coudn't be opened, late at night, and there was no support from the apartment company- they didnt answer any of the numbers including emergency numbers. They responded only the following morning.
  Inside the apartment it was somewhat musty, and there is an exposed waste-water pipe running along a wall close to the kitchen area.
