You know what struck me first about Muralla Sevilla Suites? The location is actually perfect without being touristy-perfect, if that makes sense. It’s tucked on Calle Morera, which is this narrow street that feels properly Sevillian but isn’t crawling with tour groups every morning. The Puerta de Córdoba is literally around the corner – I mean, you’re talking about a two-minute walk to one of the old city gates, and honestly, most visitors don’t even know it exists. That’s the sweet spot you want in Sevilla’s old town.

The suites themselves feel like someone actually thought about how people live, not just where they sleep for a night. I stayed in one of the larger units and there was this lovely little kitchenette situation – nothing fancy, but you can make proper coffee in the morning instead of that hotel packet stuff. The design walks this nice line between modern comfort and respecting the building’s character. You’ll see original stone details and beamed ceilings, but the bathroom is completely updated (thank god, because some of these historic places… well, let’s just say the plumbing can be an adventure). The beds are genuinely comfortable too, which matters more than people admit when you’re doing the full Sevilla experience – all that walking on cobblestones, climbing up to the Giralda, wandering through the Alcázar for hours.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to the action that you can walk to Plaza de Armas or catch the tram to Triana without thinking about it, but Calle Morera doesn’t get the late-night bar crowd. The staff actually knows the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this little tapas place on Calle Resolana that I never would have found otherwise, and it was genuinely local, not some tourist trap. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and they store luggage if you arrive early, which is clutch when you’re dragging bags through these narrow streets in the afternoon heat. The only minor thing I’d mention is that parking isn’t included, but honestly, you don’t want a car in this part of Sevilla anyway. There’s paid parking nearby if you absolutely need it, but the train station is close enough that you can just arrive by AVE and walk.

The 8.5 rating makes sense – it’s the kind of place that does what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. Four stars feels right; you get the comfort and service level you expect, but with character and a genuine connection to the city instead of that generic hotel feeling.

  Great little apartment with good air conditioning- perfect after the heat of the city. It has good kitchen equipment, a comfy bed and a great bathroom. The bath is a real bonus after a day walking around the sites. There is a small supermarket just round the corner.
  
  What could be improved: It could do with more shelving in the bathroom and more clothes storage.
  It is a 20-30 minute walk to the main attractions.

  I loved the comfort of the bed and also how clean it was . The place was very modern and you got everything inside in case you want to cook . Was only 23-24 minute from the center if you wanted to walk . The host was very responsive to any message and gave us all the informations needed . I would definitely recomand .

  The location was good, a 10/15 minute walk to the town (with Google maps) , the room was clean, modern and all facilities for a self catering apartment. Positioned in a real city neighbourhood.
  
  What could be improved: Be aware the pictures are of the different apartments not all have a seperate bathtub. We found this after we arrived but still a lovely apartment and the shower was great!

  Clean, has everything from coffee to extra towels, a bottle of welcome wine. Everything is thought through by the host.
  
  What could be improved: It is quite a walking distance to town especially Google map brings you the cobbled road path. But the host and apartment are very good so it is worth the walking.
