Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked up to the Muro city center suite, I wasn’t expecting much from the narrow street entrance – but that’s kind of the thing about Seville’s old quarter, right? The best places are tucked away where you’d never think to look. This place sits right on Calle Muro de los Navarros, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this quiet cobblestone street that somehow manages to feel worlds away from the tourist chaos, even though you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cathedral.
The suite itself is… well, it’s one of those spaces that just works. You know what I mean? Everything feels thoughtfully placed without being precious about it. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living in someone’s converted closet. What really got me though was stepping out onto that little balcony in the morning – you can hear the city waking up below, but it’s more like a gentle hum than the jarring traffic noise you get in other parts of town. The AC works properly too, which, trust me, matters a lot during those brutal Seville summers when the city basically shuts down from 2 to 6 PM.
Here’s the thing that makes this place special – the location is just ridiculously good without being obvious about it. You’re deep enough in the old town that you feel like you’re discovering something authentic, but Plaza de Armas is right there when you need to catch a bus, and the Mercado de la Encarnación (locals just call it the mushrooms) is maybe a seven-minute walk if you don’t get distracted by the little tapas bars along the way. I actually found my favorite morning coffee spot – this tiny place that doesn’t even have a proper sign – just by wandering out the front door and following my nose. The staff at Valcambre seemed to get that people staying here aren’t just ticking boxes on a tourist checklist; they actually gave me directions to places I hadn’t heard of instead of just pointing toward the obvious attractions. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (honestly, just don’t drive in this part of Seville), but everything you’d want to see is walkable anyway. I mean, that’s sort of the point of staying in a place like this – you’re not just visiting Seville, you’re actually living in it for a few days.

Reviews
Tanya from Bulgaria – 8 February 2025 (9/10)
Very good location, spacious and warm apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Paid parking close to the apartment for 26euro per 24h. We found and free parking next to railway station, 7 min by walk to the apartment. The boy who came for check in was very polite.
What could be improved: Hard to unlock the front door of the building which is unpleasant.
The lamp in the bedroom didn’t work and shower hanger was broken- the host couldn’t repair it till we were there.
Even though we spent really nice time there.Jennifer from United Kingdom – 3 February 2025 (8/10)
Location was good. Apartment was extremely clean. Facilities were good. Host was attentive to my questions.
What could be improved: Host was about 20 minutes late to let us in and the apartment was quite noisy. There is not enough hot water for four people to take showers in the morning.Annachiara from Italy – 8 October 2023 (9/10)
Very bright and spacious loft, with everything you need for a quick holiday.
Kitchen was provided with basic utensils, perfect for cooking small dishes and having breakfast.
Perfect location, all the main attraction and the city centre were within walking distance.Margaret from United Kingdom – 22 June 2023 (9/10)
Very good location a walk away to everything
What could be improved: Noise in the morning from school opositeBridget from Spain – 23 December 2023 (8/10)
Spacious, clean apartment. Great staff. Good location in terms of walking everywhere.
What could be improved: On a busy road, next to a school. Needs a bit more sound proofing from traffic and school noise. But if you aren't bothered by the noise it's a great apartment. Obviously the school won't be a problem if your stay is a weekend stay.Els from Belgium – 3 September 2023 (8/10)
Close to the City center
