Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Naranjas y Limones when I first booked it – the name alone made me smile, and honestly, I figured it might be one of those quirky little places that’s either charming or completely chaotic. Turns out it’s definitely the former. Tucked right on Calle Ana Orantes, you’re literally in the heart of Seville’s old town, which means you can stumble out the front door and be wandering through those narrow cobblestone streets within seconds. The location is actually pretty perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it – there’s this little tapas bar about two doors down where the locals go (not the touristy one with the English menu), and you can hear the cathedral bells from your room, which sounds romantic until you realize they ring every fifteen minutes. But honestly, after a day or two, it becomes part of the charm.
The building itself has that authentic Andalusian feel – you know, the kind with thick walls that actually keep things cool during those brutal summer afternoons when the temperature hits 40°C and everyone else is melting on the streets. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works, which is more than I can say for some of the pricier places I’ve stayed in Seville. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being smack in the center of everything. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day – it’s old town Seville, not a monastery – but once evening settles in, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, too, which made a huge difference. Instead of handing me some generic tourist map, they pointed me toward the real gems: the best place for morning coffee (it’s not where you’d expect), which flamenco shows are worth your time versus the tourist traps, and how to navigate the maze of streets without ending up lost for an hour like I did on my first visit to Seville years ago.
Here’s the thing about this place – it’s not going to wow you with fancy amenities or blow your mind with luxury, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that matters when you’re actually trying to experience a city. The 8.2 rating makes sense because it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. You’re paying for a comfortable base in an incredible location, run by people who seem to care about your experience. If you’re the type who needs a pool and room service, look elsewhere. But if you want to wake up in the morning, grab some fresh orange juice (fitting, given the name), and be exploring the Alcázar or wandering through the Jewish quarter within minutes, this is your spot. Plus, parking is actually doable in the area if you’re brave enough to drive in Seville – there’s a decent-sized public lot about a five-minute walk away, though I’d still recommend just taking the train in and walking everywhere once you’re here.

Excellent location, very large and comfortable room. Staff was very communicative and helpful.
What could be improved: Small issue was pillows were small, not a huge issue. AC didn't come on, but we didn't end up needing it.Rudolf from Netherlands – 6 November 2024 (9/10)

Good location, felt very safe, very clean, good facilities (cleaning supplies, washing machine)
What could be improved: Shower leaks quite a lot, the balcony pictured is only available to one apartment which we weren’t aware of.Alice from Ireland – 10 November 2024 (8/10)
Good location within walking distance to all the main sites.
Apartment clean, plenty of kitchen utensils provided, very good shower and plenty of lighting.
The Eltronic key is very handy. Place to store luggage after checkout was very useful.
Good communication from the host.
What could be improved: Bit of noise at night from outside. There is no place to put bags or hang clothes. Extra pillows would have been nice.Josef from Czech Republic – 31 October 2024 (9/10)
Convenient location close to main sights and nice walk distance to all major places. Lots of nice bars and restaurants in close proximity while not so loudy at night.. Efficient service and friendly and attentive communication. Comfortable apartment with excellent terrace.

The apartment was clean.
What could be improved: Far too much humidity in the apartment. Tried to air it out but nothing worked. Also no instructions were given how to access the apartment. I waited an hour outside until someone from the office responded to me.Budziszewski from Spain – 22 September 2024 (4/10)
The place was spacious and even though it lacked natural light, there were many options to light the place up to your liking. All of the kitchen utensils seem quite new.
What could be improved: If you get assigned to the ground floor apartment, there will be a damp smell that is camouflaged by an air freshener, but you must leave the window open to actually have air. The bathroom was not properly cleaned when we got there. (there is mold in the shower wall that can easily be cleaned). there is an issue with ventilation as well. Since there is no proper one (or window) your towels just won't dry.
The area is very noisy at night, so make sure you pack earplugs if you want to sleep.
Although it's comfy to have an electronic lock, the main entrance lock is too loud, it buzzes for some seconds. So again, if you have the ground floor room, it will disrupt your sleep.
We make all of these comments in a respectful manner and understand that maybe if you get an upper floor room, some of these things won't be an issue, but it's unfortunate that you can't choose. Price is not the most economic so, sadly, it's not a good value deal.Emma from Spain – 2 May 2025 (9/10)
Estaba muy limpio, bien situado, muy luminoso y espacioso.
