Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Nine O Clock San Agustin Suites, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked right into Plaza de San Agustín in Seville’s old town, and I mean *right* into it – you’re literally staying on one of those postcard-perfect Andalusian squares that most tourists just walk through and photograph. The building itself has that weathered limestone look that screams centuries of history, but inside? Well, they’ve done something pretty clever with the renovation. The suites feel genuinely spacious (rare for European old towns, you know), and there’s this interesting mix of exposed brick and modern fixtures that doesn’t feel forced or trying-too-hard.

What really got me was the location intelligence – and I don’t mean that in a brochure way. You’re about a three-minute walk from the Cathedral, but here’s the thing locals know: you can actually cut through the narrow Calle Alemanes to avoid the main tourist stampede on Avenida de la Constitución. The plaza itself gets this gorgeous golden light in the evenings when the tour groups have cleared out, and honestly, just sitting there with a drink from one of the nearby bars feels like you’ve stumbled onto a movie set. Parking is… well, it’s old town Seville, so forget about it unless you enjoy circling medieval streets for an hour. But the Prado de San Sebastián bus station is walkable if you’re coming from the airport, and everything you actually want to see is within walking distance anyway.

The staff seem to genuinely know their stuff about the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle García de Vinuesa that I never would have found otherwise. The rooms stay surprisingly quiet given that you’re basically in the heart of everything, though you’ll definitely hear the occasional late-night revelry from the square (which, honestly, just adds to the atmosphere unless you’re a super light sleeper). Check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually works, and the bathrooms have that satisfying European rainfall shower situation going on. It’s solidly four-star without any pretensions of being something fancier – you’re paying for the location and the space, not luxury amenities, and that trade-off makes complete sense. For what it is and where it sits, you’re getting genuine value in a city where mediocre hotels charge premium prices just for being near the action.

  The location was excellent as we used both the airport and the train station. It was an easy walk into central Seville and a very good patisserie next door for collecting breakfast things. The property is well equipped and feels airy with the high ceilings.

  We loved the apartment, it is cosy, well located, modern furniture, the kitchen had everything we needed, the coffee machine works with Dolce gusto capsules. In 15 minutes walk you get to old city center with the Cathedral and Real Alcazar, also 10-15 minutes walk to Santa Justa train station if you like to use the trains for day trips to other cities like Granada, Malaga, Cadiz, Cordoba. The EA bus from the airport has a stop at Santa Justa as well, in 10 minutes you get from and to the airport. The entire process for check in and check out is very easy, we would like to thank the real estate agency managing this property and also to the apartment's owner Nacho for their kind support during our stay. The wifi worked perfect. We would stay here again!
