Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Sevilla, and NOOL just gets it right in a way that surprised me. You know how some boutique hotels try too hard to be cool? This isn’t that. It sits quietly on Céspedes street – honestly, you might walk past it if you’re not paying attention – but that’s actually perfect because you’re literally in the heart of Barrio Santa Cruz without all the tourist chaos happening right outside your door.

The thing about this location is that you’re maybe two minutes from the Cathedral (I mean, you can practically hear the bells), but you’re tucked away enough that you don’t have tour groups marching past at 7 AM. I stayed here in late spring, and what really struck me was how they’ve managed to create this sense of calm while being so central. The building itself has that typical Sevillian charm – you know, the kind where you walk through an unassuming entrance and suddenly you’re in this beautiful interior space that feels like a secret. The design is clean and modern, but they haven’t stripped away the character, which honestly happens way too often in hotel renovations.

What I really appreciated were the small things that show someone was actually thinking about the guest experience. The AC works properly (crucial in Sevilla, trust me), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and – this might sound weird – but the lighting in the rooms is actually good for reading. You’d be amazed how many places get that wrong. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, not just the obvious tourist spots. When I asked about where to grab breakfast that wasn’t touristy, they directed me to this little place on Calle Mateos Gago that I never would’ve found otherwise. From NOOL, you can walk to basically everything worth seeing in the old town, but more importantly, you can also easily escape to the quieter parts of Santa Cruz when you need a break from sightseeing. The narrow streets around there are perfect for just wandering, especially in the evening when the light hits those white walls just right. I will say, if you’re someone who needs a big hotel lobby scene or a pool, this probably isn’t your place – it’s more intimate than that. But if you want to feel like you’re actually staying in Sevilla rather than just visiting it, NOOL hits that sweet spot perfectly. That 9.5 rating makes sense once you’re there.

  Closed to most of the attractions! It is spotless and suitable for a small family! Everything was maintained well, and clear instructions were provided.

  Oh My! This apartment sets a high bar for all other places. This was the absolute best place I have stayed at in my many years of travel. I should say that I stay within a reasonable price range and never at resorts as I would rather spend my money on food and experiences when traveling. The apartment had so many amenities I was still discovering on the last of the three day stay. Communication was and still is great with the hostess. My first breakfast every morning at 5:00 a.m. was provided by a well stocked kitchen. As a photographer I get going early for sunrise shoots. Coming back for 4 or 5 hours during the heat of the day and my usual siesta. A great place next door floor for free Flamenco show.
  
  What could be improved: Really the only difficulty I had was coming back to the room for the first time and not turning the key far enough after I heard the lock click. I needed to turn the key slightly more to open.

  Amazing location! Eva was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Lots of cute little touches like leaving us snacks and milk and juice in the fridge. Also very convenient to have a washing machine in the middle of our trip.

  Eva and her husband met us and were extremely nice and welcoming. The apartment was in a great location and very well equipped. It had all the supplies for breakfast, sightseeing suggestions and city maps.
  It is important to know that if you arrive in a rental car that the streets in the neighborhood are very narrow.

  Very charming, comfortable apartment. Eva was an awesome host and provided everything we could possibly need. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We appreciated having the washing machine to use in the middle of our trip. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone that wants to feel like they're at home. We would definitely stay again! We also had a private parking space in an underground garage. It was tight getting our larger car in but we did it! If driving, we recommend getting a small rental car.

  Eva and her husband are exceptional hosts. They were so friendly and helpful. They take great pride in their apartment and make every effort to ensure their guests are happy. We were able to walk to all the sights. We were a two minute walk from restaurants and about 5 or 6 minutes from the cathedral. We would highly recommend this centrally located, comfortable and quiet apartment.
