Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked up to nüa torreón on Demetrio de los Ríos, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the street’s tucked away in Nervión, which most tourists skip entirely, but that’s actually part of what makes this place special. You’re about a 15-minute walk from the cathedral madness, but you’re in a real Sevillian neighborhood where locals are grabbing coffee and kids are playing in the plazas. The hotel itself has this understated elegance that feels refreshing after seeing so many places trying too hard to scream “authentic Andalusian charm.”
What really got me was how they’ve managed to feel both contemporary and rooted in the city at the same time. The staff – and I mean this – actually seem to enjoy working there, which you notice immediately when you’re asking about dinner recommendations or trying to figure out the bus routes. They pointed me toward this tiny tapas place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I mentioned I was hoping to catch flamenco that wasn’t touristy, the front desk guy literally drew me a map to get to a peña in Triana. The rooms are what you’d hope for from a solid four-star – clean lines, good lighting for actually reading, and honestly some of the best air conditioning I’ve encountered in southern Spain (crucial if you’re visiting between May and September). I stayed on the third floor and it was properly quiet at night, which surprised me since Seville can get pretty lively, but Nervión settles down after dinner unlike the Santa Cruz area.
You know what sealed it for me though? The breakfast setup actually had decent coffee – not the watery stuff you get at a lot of Spanish hotels – and they stock local jamón that’s clearly from somewhere good, not just whatever’s cheapest. Plus, you’re a quick metro ride from the main sights when you want them, but you can also just wander the neighborhood and stumble onto that massive Nervión Plaza shopping area if you need practical stuff, or hit the riverside parks for a run. The whole experience felt like staying somewhere that locals might actually recommend to their visiting friends, rather than just another place designed to extract money from tourists who don’t know better. Given that 9.1 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks they’re doing something right here.

Great location easy Comms and seamless check in
What could be improved: Firstly we think an apt. of this quality should have an iron & ironing board
More importantly we found the shower tray was dangerously slippery, my wife nearly fell the first time she used the shower and the problem was worse when the floor was wet and there was shower gel present. As a safety concern we think this should be rectified in some way immediatelyFelix from France – 6 June 2025 (9/10)
Very clean and new apartment, high quality furniture / ammenities.
What could be improved: The sink in the bathroom was a bit mis-designed, making half the bathroom getting flooded.Bill from United States – 6 June 2025 (10/10)
Bright, clean and a great location!! Great communication and always a quick response using what’s app.
What could be improved: I should have booked a longer stay there. Nua Torreón offers a nearby property if for some reason there is a need for human contact to resolve a concern, I can’t see having to use it, again, great and quick responses by management.Michael from United Kingdom – 27 May 2025 (8/10)
Beautiful views and a spacious modern layout. Comfortable bed. Fab bathroom.
Five minutes from the cathedral and at the heart of the old town with bars and restaurants aplenty. A very nice place to stay when in Seville. ….. however….
What could be improved: The “extras” like coffee pods and salt and pepper etc….. C’mon, folks, for the money we’re paying, leave enough for the ( in my case) THREE days I was staying. Four pods and two paper sachets of condiments is a bit mean 😢
Surely some kitchen towels (paper) and a tea towel…. A properly equipped kitchen with the basics isn’t a lot to ask ? All the four other apartments I stayed in during my two weeks in Andalusia had all the things to make my stay easier and more enjoyable, day to day. Oh… and only three coat hangers…..Three? Really ?
It’s the little things that make a place memorable.David from United Kingdom – 26 May 2025 (8/10)
Very clean and loved the design and decor. Good location to visit the old town and sites.
What could be improved: Access to the building was a problem we had to go to the other manned reception. Contact Host was an automatic message in Spanish unfortunately we don’t speak it. Took a while but eventually were emailed door codes. The apartment is on a very busy and noisy junction but it is quiet with the windows closed.Petar from Bulgaria – 23 May 2025 (10/10)
Perfect hotel and very good place.

Lovely, beautiful space
What could be improved: Very beautiful and comfortableRosemary from United Kingdom – 20 May 2025 (9/10)
Easy checkin with door codes, good central location for walking to attractions. Large walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Good wardrobe space.
Very handy to have a nice cafe right next to the apartment building. We bought some lovely pastries to takeaway for breakfast several times and had coffee there during afternoon breaks. There was also a supermarket along the main road quite close by.
What could be improved: A few of the neighbours in other apartments would let the doors slam close, which was a little annoying if late in the evening.
Needed to ask housekeeping for extra bedding for sofabed, however they were helpful and provided it when asked.
