Honestly, when I first walked into O&L Gran Poder, I wasn’t expecting much from the narrow street entrance on Calle Cantabria – you know how these old Seville buildings can surprise you though. The moment you step inside, it’s like someone took a sleek modern apartment and dropped it right into the heart of the old town. The loft setup actually works really well here, with these gorgeous high ceilings that make the space feel way bigger than you’d expect from the outside.

What really got me was the private terrace and pool situation. I mean, finding a decent-sized private pool in central Seville is pretty rare, especially when you’re literally walking distance from the Cathedral and Alcázar. The terrace becomes your little escape – I spent most evenings up there with a bottle of Cruzcampo, watching the sunset paint those old rooftops orange. You can actually hear the evening prayers from nearby churches, which sounds touristy but it’s genuinely beautiful. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s perfect for cooling off after walking around in that Andalusian heat (and trust me, you’ll need it if you visit between May and September).

Location-wise, you’re right in the thick of things without being in the absolute chaos of the tourist center. Calle Cantabria puts you close enough to walk to all the major sites – the Cathedral is maybe eight minutes on foot, and you can easily wander over to the Triana neighborhood or hit up those amazing tapas spots along Calle Mateos Gago. But here’s the thing locals know: this particular street stays relatively quiet at night, unlike some of the main drags where you’ll hear revelers until 3 AM. The building itself has thick walls (thank god for old Spanish construction), so even when there is street noise, it doesn’t really penetrate.

Check-in was smooth – they’re pretty flexible about timing, which matters when you’re dealing with Spanish schedules and late dinners. The loft itself has everything you actually need: a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the Mercado del Arenal, good Wi-Fi, and – this matters more than you’d think – excellent air conditioning. Some of these converted old buildings skimp on the cooling, but they got it right here. The only minor thing is parking; there’s no dedicated spot, but honestly that’s normal for this part of Seville. There are public lots nearby, or if you’re brave enough, you can navigate the narrow streets and hunt for street parking.

What really makes this place work is that it feels like staying in someone’s stylish apartment rather than a hotel room. The design hits that sweet spot between Instagram-worthy and actually comfortable to live in for a few days. Plus, at this price point and with these amenities, especially that private pool, you’re getting solid value in a city where unique accommodations in the old town usually cost significantly more.

    The unit is beautiful, equiped and conviently located. Close to the action,, well lit walking back at night, quiet despite areas activities. Buses are close by, the hop on and hop off stop is near, grocery stores close, and the tourist provider pick up too.

    What could be improved: Although the hosts were in contact via email and Whatsapp, it would have been nice to see a face.
    The unit was clean but a little dusty which aggravated my allergies. Pool was awesome but wond drops dist in pool, which they did come to clean as best they could.

    Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce joli petit loft. Idéalement situé et bien aménagé et équipé, ce logement a rendu notre séjour agréable. La petite piscine est un plus vu les températures a Séville a cette période, nous avons eu l'occasion de nous y rafraîchir tous les jours en après midi lors d'une pause entre nos visites. Le quartier est très calme est bien situé pour tout faire à pied.

    What could be improved: Le chlore de la piscine est peut-être à vérifier et le niveau du pH aussi parce que ma peau a fait une réaction. Les finitions / nettoyage de la terrasse.
