You know what struck me first about Otumba Suite? It’s tucked into this narrow side street in Seville’s old town where you can actually hear your footsteps echoing off the ancient walls as you walk up. I mean, Calle Otumba isn’t one of those touristy thoroughfares everyone talks about, but that’s honestly part of its charm – you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something the guidebooks missed.
The building itself has that weathered Sevillan character you’d expect from this part of the city, and while it’s a solid 3-star place, it punches above its weight in ways that matter. The suites (hence the name, obviously) give you actual room to breathe, which is refreshing when you’ve been cramped in tiny European hotel rooms all week. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night – and I’m someone who usually packs earplugs everywhere. Sure, you’ll catch the occasional late-night conversation drifting up from the street, but it’s more atmospheric than annoying. The staff actually seems to know the neighborhood inside and out, too. When I asked about getting to the Cathedral without fighting tourist crowds, the guy at reception didn’t just point me toward the main routes – he sketched out this little side-street route that saved me probably twenty minutes of shoulder-bumping through packed plazas.
Here’s the thing about staying in Seville’s old town (and locals will tell you this) – parking is basically a nightmare unless you know the tricks, but Otumba Suite somehow makes it work. They’ve got arrangements with a nearby garage that won’t completely drain your wallet, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to move your car anyway. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and I mean everything. The Alcázar is maybe a seven-minute stroll, the Cathedral’s even closer, and if you’re into that authentic tapas scene, there are these tiny bars scattered around the neighborhood where you’ll be the only tourist most nights. The morning light coming through the suite windows hits different too – something about the way it bounces off all that old stone and filters through the narrow streets. And while the hotel doesn’t try to be something it’s not (no rooftop pool or flashy lobby), what they do, they do well. Clean, comfortable, with that lived-in Spanish hospitality that makes you feel less like a guest and more like a temporary neighbor. That 8.6 rating? Yeah, I get it completely.

The location of the property was excellent with easy access to various attractions within the city. The apartment was bright and airy and a fab place to come back to at the end of a busy day.

Looks as beautiful as in the pictures. Comfortable bed, has dishwasher and washing machine, modern induction stove. Lots of natural light, because it's in the 3rd floor (out of 4), even though it's in a tight alley. Kind host.

Very close to the centre – everything interesting can be reached on foot. Perfect for travelling without a car. The apartment is clean, the bed is comfortable, and there’s enough towels, shower gel, kitchen utensils for a stay.
What could be improved: An odd choice not to have a kettle in the apartment. There’s a toaster, and a coffee machine but no capsules, and no kettle. There’s also an ironing board but no iron. No drawers or wardrobe in the second bedroom, we had to keep our clothes in the wardroom in the living room and there were 3 hangers. The location is central. Good for turism.
The apartment was clean.
What could be improved: Instead of 80m2 described, we found ourselves in 50m2 that we would have never rented in the first place. We measured the flat to be sure.
We were four, there was no place to keep our three suitcases. Either you put them out of the flat to be able to open the dining table, or two people should eat standing because of lack of space.
In one of the bedrooms there was an absolutely useless toilet (without ventilation) and zero shelves to keep clothes.
There is an open kitchen in the living room. The extractor did not function at all. We adressed the property with this problem the first day. We have been promised a technician to come, but in 8 days of stay no one came. This is hospitality business and there should be a technician coming for these kind of problems. This is a must, not an option (or a promise).
For information too of future guests, this is not the property's fault but if you don't smoke or don't like the cold tobacco smell: the apartment is in a residential building and one of the neighbors is an extremely heavy smoker. We had the odor of tobacco all the time but mainly in the staircase.

El depto super lindo y muy bien ubicado!. Bien arreglado, con detalles de buen gusto y muy equipado con todo lo necesario para vivir cómodamente.. El segundo baño es un buen plus, ya que eramos 4 personas!

Nos costó abrir la caja donde estaban las llaves unos 5 minutos, porque no podíamos ver bien los números. Era de noche y con la luz del móvil, no se podían ver bien.

Todo el apartamento está genial. La cocina es completa y las habitaciones están muy bien. En una de ellas hay una armario, y en la otra que es más pequeña no hay armario, pero hay un aseo que vienen muy bien.
