Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Pajaritos Palace? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – I mean, you really do hear birds chirping from the little courtyard, which honestly caught me off guard in the middle of Seville’s old quarter. It’s tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street that most tourists walk right past, but that’s exactly what makes it special. The building itself has that classic Andalusian thing going on with the white walls and terracotta tiles, though they’ve clearly put some money into renovating without making it feel like a chain hotel, if you know what I mean.
The location is honestly perfect if you actually want to experience Seville rather than just Instagram it. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that stay closer to the main squares. Plaza de San Francisco is right around the corner, and there’s this little tapas place called El Rinconcillo (supposedly the oldest bar in Seville, though every city claims that about somewhere) that the front desk guy recommended. He was right, by the way. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid four-star – nothing groundbreaking, but the AC actually works (crucial in Seville summers), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I stayed in one of the interior rooms thinking it might be quieter, and it was, though you do miss out on the street views of people navigating those impossibly narrow sidewalks with their rolling suitcases.
What really won me over was the little details that someone clearly thought about. The Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner – not always a given in these old buildings with thick walls. Check-in was refreshingly normal, no weird upselling or confusing key card systems. The staff speaks proper English but isn’t condescending about it, and they seem to genuinely know the neighborhood rather than just reciting rehearsed recommendations. Parking is… well, it’s the old town, so forget about it unless you enjoy twenty-minute hunts for spaces the size of a shoebox. But honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car anyway. The whole historic center is walkable, and the metro stop at Puerta de Jerez is maybe ten minutes away if you want to venture further out. It’s the kind of place where you end up chatting with other guests in the lobby – not in an annoying forced way, just because everyone seems relaxed and like they made a good choice. For the price point, especially considering you’re right in the heart of everything, it’s actually pretty solid value. Not luxury, but definitely comfortable, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

Excellent location fairly close to the cathedral and many bars and restaurants nearby.
Communication for booking and arrival excellent. Comfortable double bed and 2 bathrooms useful for 3 ladies travelling together .
What could be improved: Lack of basic provisions eg some water for arrival and coffee pods even tho I asked before hand which type and was told everything for our stay was provided . Sofa bed in living room okay for one but would be uncomfortable for 2 people.Tarek from Morocco – 21 January 2024 (9/10)

I had a wonderful stay at Pajaritos Palace by Valcambre. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the cathedral, the Alcazar, and the Archivo de Indias. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the communication was excellent. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Seville.
Michael from Spain – 8 December 2023 (9/10)
The property is quiet wide and comfortable, located in an incredible location – walking distance from all Sevilla’s tourists’ landmark. Very good vibe. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
What could be improved: The quality of bathrooms was low and no soundproof with the neighbors
