Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, but Panther Home Francos caught me off guard in the best way possible. You walk down Calle Pajaritos – which honestly, most tourists never even notice because they’re too busy hunting for the cathedral – and suddenly there’s this gem tucked right into the heart of the old town. I mean, you’re literally surrounded by those narrow cobblestone streets that make you feel like you’ve stepped back a few centuries, but without all the tourist chaos that hits places like Calle Sierpes.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to blend modern comfort with that authentic Sevillian character. The building itself has that traditional Andalusian feel – you know, the kind with thick walls that actually keep the place cool during those brutal summer afternoons when the city hits 40°C and everyone’s hiding indoors. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every five minutes, and honestly, the air conditioning works like a dream (which, trust me, matters more than you think if you’re visiting between June and September). The staff really knows their stuff too – they’ll point you toward the little tapas bars that locals actually frequent, not just the touristy spots with English menus plastered outside.

Here’s the thing about the location that makes it special: you’re close enough to walk to the Alcázar in about eight minutes, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you can actually sleep at night. I stayed there during Semana Santa one year – probably the craziest week to visit Seville – and while you could hear the distant sounds of processions and celebrations, it wasn’t like having drums and trumpets right outside your window at 2 AM. Plus, there’s a fantastic little café just around the corner on Calle San Luis where you can grab proper café con leche and tostada for breakfast if you want to skip the hotel routine. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see locals hanging laundry from wrought-iron balconies and elderly men playing dominoes at the corner bar – it’s the real Seville, not the postcard version. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving (honestly, just don’t drive in Seville’s old town unless you enjoy stress), but there’s a decent public garage about a ten-minute walk away, and the staff will actually give you proper directions instead of just pointing vaguely down the street.

  The apartment was so lovely, very spacious and airy. Lovely little balcony that look over the streets. The location was fantastic, easy walking distance to everything. There was a lift which was great as I sometimes struggle with stairs .
  
  What could be improved: Nothing . It was noisy at night due to the location but that created atmosphere and it was quiet by midnight so not a problem.

  Great location, spacious, clean and nicely furnished. Really comfortable and would happily stay here again.
  
  What could be improved: There only saucepans in the kitchen were very small – otherwise nothing of note (all the other kitchen utensils were good). The neighbourhood can be a bit noisy at night due to tourism and overnight street cleaners.

  Very beautifully decorated comfortable spacious appartment as the photos show, no key entry system, nespresso machine, apart from a little mold in the shower the appartment was perfectly spotlesly clean. As centrally located as possible. Keyless entry provided a higher sense of security.
  
  What could be improved: Because of location during the night there is a lot of noise from loud drunk parties of individuals who want to continue their fun on the streets…

  Location was great, modern apartment, large space and well equipped kitchen.
  
  What could be improved: No WIFI There wasn't a router in the apartment, so not sure there has ever been WiFi. Info displayed on how to stay in the apartment, but no info on how to access WIFI. Let the manager know who said they would send someone around. As a short holiday I just purchased WiFi from provider.
