Hotel Description
So I stumbled onto Piso Deluxe Argote completely by accident – well, actually my original booking fell through and this place had a last-minute opening. Honestly? Best travel mishap I’ve had in years. You’re right in the thick of Seville’s old town on Calle Argote de Molina, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this narrow cobblestone street that feels like you’ve wandered into someone’s neighborhood rather than a tourist zone. The building itself has that typical Sevillan charm – you know, the kind where you walk through an unassuming doorway and suddenly you’re in this gorgeous courtyard that makes you stop and think “wait, how is this even real?”
What really got me was how the place manages to feel authentically local while still being, well, actually comfortable. I mean, you’re a two-minute walk from the Cathedral (and I timed it because I’m that person), but you’re not dealing with the chaos of the main tourist drags. The apartment – because that’s really what it is, a proper apartment – has this lived-in quality that most hotels try to fake but never quite nail. The kitchen actually works if you want to grab some jamón from the market down the street, and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that doesn’t make you feel like you’re being attacked by a garden hose. There’s this little balcony too that overlooks the street, perfect for morning coffee when the delivery trucks are doing their rounds and the whole neighborhood’s waking up.
Here’s the thing though – and maybe this is why it sits at that solid 8.1 rating instead of higher – it’s not going to coddle you. No concierge desk, no room service, no turndown mints on your pillow. You get keys, you get a beautiful space, and you figure the rest out yourself. Which honestly I loved, but I could see how it might frustrate someone expecting full hotel treatment. The check-in was smooth enough (they actually met me at the apartment, which was clutch since I’m terrible with addresses), and the WiFi didn’t make me want to throw my laptop out the window. Parking is… well, it’s the old town, so good luck with that. But you’re close enough to everything that matters – the tapas bars on Mateos Gago, that little plaza where locals actually hang out instead of just tourists, the riverside walk when you need to escape the afternoon heat. It’s one of those places where you end up staying in longer than planned, not because there’s so much to do right there, but because it feels like you’re actually living in Seville for a few days instead of just visiting it.

What could be improved: Needed extra blanketsMalia from United States – 13 October 2024 (9/10)
Great location. Nice furnishings & appliances.
What could be improved: A little noisy – lots of truck deliveries in the night & emptying of glass recycling.Cristian from Romania – 25 November 2024 (8/10)
Nice place,good location !

Great location walking distance to a lot of sights.
What could be improved: Noisy with the bars, restaurants & cars on the street.Iurii from Romania – 28 May 2025 (6/10)
The location is very good near many city attractions. The terrace was a nice place to spend the mornings with a cup of coffee or evenings with a glass of wine. The apartment is pretty big.
What could be improved: The staff does not speak English at all, only Spanish, so in case of emergencies there is no possibility to communicate if you don't speak Spanish. In the bathroom there is a big mold spot in the ceiling. The noisy street, keep in consideration to buy some ear plugs.Tasmiah from Bangladesh – 13 September 2024 (1/10)
While the apartment is nicely located and it’s clean; the people who manage the property are terrible. Don’t recommend at all!
What could be improved: Terrible customer service- they don’t speak English and that’s a problem for global tourists! So, then they should say that the apartment is for Spanish speakers only.
We were stuck in a tiny lift for 45 minutes- the lady on the customer service side couldn’t understand anything. So we kept in translating and talking to her. She said she is on her way and it will take 15 minutes but she never showed up! We called the lift company from inside the lift and they arrived and helped us to get out. She kept on lying that she called fire brigade but that also didn’t arrive! We were traumatised and it’s terrible that the owner/property people didn’t even apologise properly!
The main door lock is broken- the cherry on top was that after all this ordeal we tried opening the door of the apartment but it was too jammed, took us another 10 minutes to open the door. I read this in many reviews but it was still not fixed when we first got there.
I left the property and didn’t even stay. The owner/property also didn’t have the decency to refund us after what we have been through.
Booking.com should really reconsider this property! Unless they improve their service, it will be hard for non Spanish speakers.Kim from US Virgin Islands – 30 December 2024 (4/10)
Great location, nice sized apartment
What could be improved: NO heat in living room (perhaps the battery was dead in the remote for the AC/heat. Sink in bathroom leaked so bad we were not able to use it. Had to use the kitchen ink to wash our faces, brush teeth, etc. It was reported but not attended to during our stay. Also ceiling in bathroom was full of black mold.Magdalena from Poland – 4 May 2025 (9/10)
Świetna lokalizacja, przestronny apartament, stylowo wykończony, wszystko czego potrzeba.
What could be improved: Sufit w łazience zalany.Elisa from Spain – 1 May 2025 (9/10)
