Look, I’ll be straight with you – when I first saw the name “Pj Terraza Privada Bañera exterior junto Catedral,” I thought someone had a field day with Google Translate. But honestly? This little gem tucked away on Pajaritos street is exactly what it promises, and then some.

The location is pretty incredible, actually. You’re literally steps from the Cathedral – I mean, you can hear the bells from your terrace, which sounds romantic until 7 AM Sunday mass rolls around (fair warning). But being right in the heart of the old town means you’re walking distance from everything that matters. The narrow cobblestone streets can be a maze at first, but there’s something magical about stumbling back through those ancient alleys after a night of tapas hopping. Parking is… well, let’s just say embrace the walking or budget for a taxi from wherever you manage to leave your car.

What really sets this place apart is that outdoor bathtub situation – and I know it sounds gimmicky, but hear me out. There’s something unexpectedly luxurious about soaking under the Andalusian sky with cathedral spires in view. The terrace is properly private too, which was honestly my biggest concern when booking. The whole setup feels more like a local’s secret rooftop hideaway than your typical tourist accommodation. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities, but everything works well and there’s clear attention to detail. I noticed little touches like quality toiletries and actually comfortable pillows (you’d be surprised how rare that is). The 8.1 rating makes sense too – it’s really good at what it does, though I can see how the quirky setup might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

The building itself has that authentic Sevillan character – thick walls that keep things cool during the day, traditional tiles, and those gorgeous wooden shutters that actually block out light when you need to sleep in. You know what surprised me? How quiet it gets at night despite being so central. Sure, you’ll catch some street noise during evening paseo hours, but by midnight it’s pretty peaceful. The check-in was smooth enough, though definitely coordinate arrival times since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. One thing to keep in mind – if you’re traveling in summer, that outdoor tub is going to be your best friend during the brutal afternoon heat, but maybe save the cathedral exploring for early morning or evening. Trust me on this one, Seville in July doesn’t mess around.

  Location was amazing. Very clean. Good choice of tv channels.
  
  What could be improved: Like other reviews this needs a few minor improvements. No mirrors. No hooks for towels. Bath on roof takes ages to fill.

  Top location in the heart of Sevilla.

  What could be improved: We were given an address to park our car close to the apartment, but it was a very difficult drive through narrow streets and in the end the parking turned out to be a private parking. It was hard to find a public parking and we tried to call the owner but she didn’t respond.
  
  There are only two windows in the apartment, facing the patio, so it’s a bit dark and hard to ventilate. The bathroom has poor lights and no windows.
  
  The beds were ok but a bit hard, and the double bed is rather small.

  fantastic location and a really lovely apartment, very clean and quiet.

  What could be improved: Needs the light working at the top of the stairs, also needs a mirror in natural light for doing make up and needs a hook in the bathroom for hanging clothes.
  Lift up to the apartment was a life saver for my dad.
  Also would be better if hot water would run enough to get a warm bath outside before it goes cold and also needs a chain attaching to the plug as we couldn’t get it out on our last night so just had to leave it in.

  The location is great, same as the service. We liked the outside pool with some shade and loved the airco so its cool inside. The appartement is clean and we had everything we needed.
  
  What could be improved: The beds are too hard (not so comfortable eventhough we like hard beds). Especially the seconds bedroom (right) is way too hard. Tip to put some mirrors in the room, so people have that even when the badroom is occupied.

  The location couldn’t be more central, and the rooftop patio with jacuzzi really was as good as we’d hoped – a great place to hang out on a warm Sevilla evening. The flat was immaculately clean, and the check in easy. We would return for sure.

  Great location, really down town Sevilla. Good looking apartment, clean! The bath on the rooftop was great despite we had a day of bad weather. Beds are good, rather hard mattress but I prefer that above a soft one.
  
  What could be improved: you can only enter as of 15:00hrs, so if you arrive early by plane there is not a convenient way to leave your bags for example.

  The house is quiet, especially given how noisy the streets can be during festival. The terrace and soaking tub was awesome. The place is very functional for a couple. It may be a bit smsll for four people but not bad
  
  What could be improved: Beds were a little too firm but bedding was good. My only small thing is the furniture is inexpensive (think Ikea). For the price, I'd love to see higher quality furniture. But, again, not bad
