You know what struck me first about Precioso Apartamento? The location is honestly unbeatable – you’re right on Calle Galera, which means you’re literally in the heart of Sevilla’s old town, but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy or overwhelming. I mean, you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe eight minutes, but the street itself has this authentic neighborhood vibe where you’ll see locals buying bread at the corner bakery in the morning.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room, which I actually prefer. It’s got that Spanish apartment charm – high ceilings, tile floors that keep things cool even in summer, and windows that open properly (you’d be surprised how many places in Europe have those weird tilt windows that barely open). The decor is tasteful without being stuffy – sort of modern meets traditional Andalusian, if that makes sense. What I really appreciated was the little kitchen setup because, honestly, sometimes you just want to grab some jamón and cheese from the market and have a simple dinner at home after a long day of sightseeing. The Wi-Fi actually works well too, which isn’t always a given in these old buildings.

Here’s the thing about the location that guidebooks don’t tell you – yes, you’re in the historic center, but Calle Galera is just off the main tourist drag, so you get the convenience without constant crowds walking past your window. The nearest Metro stop is a bit of a walk, but honestly, you won’t need it much since everything worth seeing is walkable. Parking is tricky (like everywhere in the old town), but there’s a public garage about three blocks away if you’re driving. The neighborhood gets lively in the evenings – you’ll hear people chatting and kids playing in the street, which I found charming, though light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. One small thing that impressed me was how responsive the host was; when I had a question about the air conditioning, they got back to me within an hour. It’s those little touches that make a difference when you’re traveling. The building itself is typical old Sevilla – beautiful but no elevator, so just keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Overall, it’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re actually living in Sevilla for a few days rather than just visiting it.

  The location was very good with easy access to main sights. The apartment was very clean and the bed/pillows nice and comfortable. Ishmael was very welcoming with good communication
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom was a little small, but that’s expected in a city apartment. It would have been nice to have some milk left, but there were supermarkets close so not a problem
