Hotel Description

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a mouthful of a name, but this apartment on Rodrigo de Triana turned out to be one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of Triana – you know, that authentic Sevillan architecture that hasn’t been tourist-ified to death – and when you walk up to the second floor, you’re greeted by this surprisingly spacious place that feels way more upscale than the modest entrance suggests.

What really sold me on this spot was the private terrace (and honestly, the included parking, because anyone who’s tried to park in Seville knows that’s basically worth its weight in gold). The terrace isn’t huge, but it’s got this perfect morning light that hits just right when you’re having coffee, and you can actually see slices of neighborhood life happening below – old ladies hanging laundry, kids heading to school, that sort of authentic stuff you can’t stage. The apartment itself has been renovated thoughtfully – I mean, it’s got modern amenities without losing that Andalusian character. The kitchen is well-equipped enough that we actually cooked a few meals instead of eating out every night, which saved us a ton of money and gave us an excuse to explore the local markets on Calle San Jacinto.

Location-wise, you’re right in the heart of Triana, which locals will tell you is the “real” Seville – less touristy than the city center but still walkable to everything that matters. The Guadalquivir is literally a three-minute stroll, and crossing the Isabel II bridge to get to the Cathedral or Alcázar becomes this pleasant ritual rather than a commute. Plus, you’re surrounded by some genuinely fantastic tapas bars (there’s this tiny place called Bar Ruperto just around the corner that barely fits six people but serves incredible montaditos). The neighborhood gets pretty lively in the evenings – not rowdy, but you’ll hear conversations drifting up from the street and maybe some flamenco guitar if you’re lucky. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs, though honestly the sounds become part of the charm after a night or two. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury hotel perfect, but it’s got personality and practical perks that actually matter when you’re trying to live like a local for a few days.

Reviews

  • Frank from Netherlands – 8 April 2025 (9/10)

The door opened using a link on the phone with location services switched on. That was quite easy and the link could be shared as well with the other family members. The house was very clean and spacious and the best part was the huge terrace at the top. It gave nice view over the city and was great when resting at the end of long day walking through the city. When there was too much sun it also had a large sunshade. Bathrooms were large enough for our party of 5 and when we had questions the hosts responded extremely quickly.

What could be improved: WiFi coverage could be better. The router is in the bedroom below, which is a little it too far from the living room. Coverage on the terrace is not that bad because of that.

  • Glenn from Australia – 21 May 2024 (9/10)

The location was great as was the spacious terrace area

What could be improved: We couldn’t stay longer!

  • Von from Spain – 12 April 2024 (9/10)

The terrace was the star of this apartment, as soon as I entered the apartment I went straight there and the way my family and I gasped at the view from the Terrace, made the amount of stairs worth it.
The beds are very comfortable, the entrance is fully digital so Data is highly recommended, not sure if it works without it, as you will need a website to open the apartment door.
The host was very responsive and super nice, it was a pleasure to stay there.
THIS LOCATION IS NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY, OR IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY PROBLEMS YOU WILL STRUGGLE.

What could be improved: The Stairs! If it weren't for the amount of stairs and lack of elevator, this place would be just perfect.

  • Neumaier from United States – 25 March 2024 (9/10)

Incredible location and the ease of in and out! Parking also very convenient and necessary for us

What could be improved: Consider adding a handrail for the stairs?

  • Helen from United Kingdom – 30 October 2023 (8/10)

Nice terrace, beds very comfortable, good location.

What could be improved: 5 adults & a baby, only a set of 4 plates & a travel kettle for 2 cups. There is a noise monitor somewhere in the apt, we got a text saying we were too noisy, this was when there was no music or TV just laughter while playing a card game. Charged for cleaning but you have to empty the bins yourself & take them to the communal bins down the road. Parking not near the apt.

  • Sandra from United Kingdom – 29 August 2023 (9/10)

The apartment is great, clean, big rooms an a lovely terrace. Close to all good sites to see and local restaurants. The staff was very good. Nacho was great and the lady that took care of us was very good also( I am sorry, don’t remember her name, but her smile and friendliness was incredible). Definitely will come back, my children love the place. Thank you for your hospitality 😊

What could be improved: I would love a bit longer contact hours.

  • Susan from United Kingdom – 19 October 2022 (9/10)

Excellent apartment in a great location. Just fabulous sitting on the terrace in the evening. Comfy beds, clean and plenty of hot water.
The host were outstanding. Great communication, including a whatapp conversion just before we left England. They allowed us to leave our bags with them in the office in the morning before checking in and at the apartment before we left.

What could be improved: Realistically, could not have been better.

  • Smith from Canada – 12 June 2023 (4/10)

location was great. Very close to everything we wanted to see.

What could be improved: THE Stairs. we were not aware that this unit had so many stairs. Lugging our suitcases up to the apartment was brutal. perhaps when the owners write up their listings they should mention the accessibility. we were not impressed. would not recommend this unit for anyone with mobility issues.

  • Ruth from United States – 27 December 2022 (6/10)

great location and very responsive host

What could be improved: it wasn’t very well equipped or comfortable and lacked basic things such as garbage cans.

  • Tonya from Bulgaria – 22 January 2023 (4/10)

Тhe location of the apartment, close to the center, the comfortable beds and the big terrace, which we couldn't use, however, because it had rained and the furniture was wet.

What could be improved: For the first time since booking through Booking.com, the owner of the apartment wants me to fill in the personal details of all the guests, including selfies (pictures) of each person who will be staying in the apartment and a copy of all our passports, before we receive the CODES to access the apartment. Apparently the owners haven't heard of the General Data Protection Regulation. When we arrived at the address we saw the video in the access instructions we were sent and tried to open the locker at the front door of the building as shown. We could not. It was only after we called Christina twice, who was in charge of managing the reservation, that she explained that the locker is not the one in the picture with the instructions, but is on the floor where the apartment is, and sent us another video with new and different instructions. Finally we entered the apartment, got the keys from the garage and went to his address. We got into the garage with the car, but when we tried to get out on foot, we couldn't because the keys left behind weren't the right ones again. So we had to stay locked in the garage until one of the car owners came and helped us out! It was mandatory these days when we picked up the car that one of us stood by the door, otherwise it would be impossible to get out of the garage.
When we arrived at the apartment it was very cold in the bedrooms and only one of the air conditioner remotes worked. The coffee machine in the kitchen was not working! In the living room, the floor was not clean. One bathroom smelled awful of sewer. In the morning before 8 there was a terrible noise from the roof of the block next to the apartment because of the renovations they were doing the whole time we were there.
Everything described caused us inconvenience and spoiled our stay in Seville, so we claim compensation from the owner and please contact him! We are also exploring the possibility of filing a lawsuit for violations of GDPR.
