Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about this place? The way the afternoon light filters through those tall windows onto the terrace – honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from apartment-style accommodation, but the Redes Suite actually feels more like staying at a well-connected friend’s gorgeous Sevillian home than some generic hotel.
The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist mayhem on every corner. Calle Redes sits right in the heart of the old town, but it’s one of those quieter streets where you can actually hear yourself think. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cathedral (I timed it), and the Santa Cruz neighborhood is right there when you want to get lost in those winding cobblestone alleys. What I really appreciated was being close enough to duck back for an afternoon siesta – which, let me tell you, becomes essential when you’re dealing with Seville’s summer heat. The building itself has that classic Andalusian charm, thick walls that keep things cool, and the kind of worn stone steps that make you feel like you’re stepping into some romantic novel.
The suite itself is spacious in a way that most European city accommodations just aren’t. I mean, you can actually unpack your suitcase and spread out, which felt like a luxury after bouncing between cramped hotel rooms. The terrace is the real star though – it’s not huge, but it’s got enough space for morning coffee and evening wine, and there’s something magical about watching the neighborhood come alive from up there. The kitchen is fully equipped (actually fully equipped, not the fake “kitchenette” situation you sometimes get), so we ended up grabbing ingredients from the Mercado de Feria and cooking a few meals. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area – the streets are narrow and mostly pedestrian-only – but there’s a public garage about three blocks away that’s reasonably priced. Check-in was smooth, though the building entrance is a bit understated, so don’t expect a flashy lobby situation. The whole experience feels more residential than hotel-like, which I loved, but some people might miss having a concierge or daily housekeeping. Noise levels were surprisingly manageable considering you’re in the city center – those thick walls really do their job, though you’ll definitely hear some street life, especially on weekend evenings when people are heading out for dinner around 10 PM. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me; it’s not flawless, but it nails the things that matter most: location, space, and that authentic Seville feeling that chain hotels just can’t replicate.

Excellent location and spacious with a nice terrace.
The interior is comfortable but is starting to feel a little tired but still very acceptable. Good TV
A strange design choice. The door to the terrace is glass and looks directly into the neighbours glass door in their bedroom….. unfortunately this is directly in front of the bathroom. Why not put some obscure film on the terrace door??
So pack your pajamas unless you want to give a show when you go to the loo as the neighbour left their door open when we were thereBianca from Germany – 9 December 2024 (9/10)
Very friendly staff, easy communication. The flat war super nice and in walking distance to all the attractions of town (15 min walk to the cathedral e.g.).
The flat is well equipped, got enough towels and coffee pods. Kitchen is also good for own cooking.
Comfy bed and nice small terrace.
What could be improved: Everything was perfect.Manika from India – 28 May 2024 (8/10)
Looks exactly like the picture and was super clean/easy to get in and comfortable.
What could be improved: Location is not good. Far from Alcázar and all other places. For a solo traveller not the best location as I stayed near the Alcázar and all the best restaurants and bars are close to the centre. This is far from the centre so not recommended location wise. Also, I had an emergency and had to leave after just 1 night and requested for partial/some refund which was denied to me. I think they could have helped here but chose not to. So that was a big bummer as other places show more compassion.Mk from Greece – 2 February 2023 (9/10)
everything 😀
What could be improved: the only thing that i would improve is to make blind the windows of the living room.Oliver from Slovakia – 29 June 2022 (9/10)

What could be improved: Had to chase about how to get accessAlex-uph from Bulgaria – 1 February 2025 (3/10)
Loved the terrace.
What could be improved: The apartment didn't have hot water, we weren't notified in advance – we had to find out ourselves, after raising the issue the hosts said they're sorry and issued a partial refund. Still, being honest upfront would've been better (not taking a shower is an issue, even more so with kids).Blake from Canada – 4 March 2025 (4/10)
Well, this may apply more to North American travellers than Europeans. The location for us was great as it was outside of the tourist areas but you could reach multiple destinations in all directions. We would stay in this area again. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants within minutes and shopping was close by. Grocery stores and fruit and vegetable shops were nearby. The patio is a nice touch that receives morning and afternoon sun and is quite large, with potential but the outdoor furniture is old and not comfortable to actually use for outdoor dining. The clothes washing machine was excellent and the clothes rack outside was large. There is a new, on demand hot water heater installed so once the unit was heating, there was endless hot water for showering. The unit is on the 4th floor (top floor) so there isn’t anyone above. There is an elevator if you don’t like or can’t do stairs but it is very small and not the smoothest. We usually took the stairs. We were met for the initial entry to the building which was very nice. There are two sources of heat. The forced air works great but the management person who met us did not know how to operate the hot water heating. Both are on separate systems and we didn’t have any issues. The bed was good and fairly firm with a memory foam type mattress. It could have been larger but was ok for 2 average sized people.
What could be improved: The fridge needs repair or replacing as it froze our food after 2 days. We stayed for 12 days so we had to really limit what we bought for eating at the apartment since milk, juice, cheese, eggs and meat froze if in longer than 2 days. I put a glass of water in the fridge and it froze overnight. Management was alerted and said they couldn’t do anything as the fridge would need a technician so offered a refund. Most shelves in the ridge are also broken. The hot water pipes are noisy when in use, there isn’t a safe for valuables, the sink stopper was damaged and didn’t hold water so maybe that’s why all the dishes and cutlery was dirty upon arrival. The cabinets are worn out. The carpet in front of the sofa is old and the edges are curled which are a tripping hazard, plus it is filthy and just needs replacing. The one and only bathroom is small, the water from the shower sprays everywhere as there’s no curtain and there is black mold in various spots. The only mirror is in the bathroom and it is a tiny one over the sink. There’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom hence the likely mold issues. The chairs could use leg pads as they screech on the marble floors each time they are moved, the people below must cringe every time this happens. The cutlery should be updated and there are not many decent cutting knives. I’m not sure if this is common but there are no screens in the windows so when you open them, bugs can come in. Since this was winter, there was some rooftop noise from AC/heating units but not sure how loud it would be come summer when it is really hot and everyone is running the AC. There were no English speaking channels on the TV just for information to those who may be interested. There are no coat hooks or closet for jackets or coats. The sofa needs replacing. Either the owner is cheap or the management company is not doing a good job but this place needs updates as it has potential. We would not stay here again.Roberto from Italy – 14 June 2025 (9/10)
Siamo soddisfatti.
