You know what caught me off guard about Refinadores Boutique Apartments? The location is almost too good to be true. I mean, you’re literally on Plaza de los Refinadores, which sounds fancy but is actually this intimate little square that most tourists walk right past on their way to the cathedral. The thing is, you’re about a three-minute walk from all the major Seville action, but when you step into that plaza at night, it’s like you’ve found this quiet pocket of old Andalusia that somehow escaped the tour groups.

The apartments themselves feel like someone’s stylish Spanish aunt decided to rent out her place – there’s character in the details, you know? The exposed brick walls aren’t just for show (though they photograph beautifully), and honestly, the kitchenettes are way more functional than I expected. I actually ended up cooking a few meals because the local market on Calle Feria is just a short walk away, and there’s something pretty satisfying about making coffee with a view of those traditional Sevillian balconies across the square. The air conditioning works well too, which – trust me – matters a lot when you’re dealing with those brutal Seville summers where it’s still 85 degrees at midnight.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood. When I asked about flamenco shows, they didn’t just hand me a tourist brochure – they recommended this tiny tablao on Calle Betis that I never would have found otherwise. The check-in process was smooth (they have a 24-hour reception, which is clutch when your train gets delayed), and parking… well, you’re in the old town, so forget about driving here. But the Puerta Jerez metro stop is close enough, and honestly, everything you want to see in Seville is walkable from here anyway. I’d wake up to the sound of church bells from the cathedral mixed with the clip-clop of horse carriages starting their tourist routes – it sounds cheesy, but it’s actually pretty charming when you’re sipping that first cortado of the day. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it nails that authentic Seville experience while still being comfortable and well-maintained.

  Location was perfect right in the center, everything was close by, loved walking the local streets.

  Excellent location near the cathedral, Alcazar and town centre. It is near a very pleasant square, and not too noisy at night. Feels very spacious. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, as were the sofas. Key system was very easy to use. The apartment and communal areas were clean and well maintained. There were also lockers available for us to use on the last day as our flight was late in the evening. Great communication from the host who answered questions throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this apartment.

  The experience was very good, the host was incredible kind and friendly. The accomodation was 5 min from the centre of the town which was a great advantage. The vacation was how we expected due to the accomodation and experience!

  What could be improved: Notre logement se situait au RDC à côté d'un local technique bruyant.
  Effectivement, un bruit en boucle on dirait un mixeur.
  Je ne sais pas si on entend ce bruit même au niveau des autres logements parce que c'est le seul point négatif.

  Bardzo ładny, zadbany apartament, czysty, dość przestronny jak na 4 osoby. Znakomita lokalizacja w centrum Starego Miasta w ładnym budynku. Możliwość pozostawienia bagaży w dniu wyjazdu. Ekspres do kawy i podstawowe naczynia w kuchni. Znakomity kontakt i pomoc w każdej sprawie, błyskawiczne odpowiadanie na wiadomości. Spędziliśmy tu uroczy czas.
  
  What could be improved: Tylko drobiazgi – przydałby się czajnik i papierowe ręczniki do kuchni oraz deska do krojenia. Poza tym bez zastrzeżeń, wszystko dobrze przemyślane.

  Joli appartement, très bien situé au pied de la charmante place de los Refinadores. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'avoir accès à des vélos, Séville se visite extrêmement bien en vélo.
  
  What could be improved: Malheureusement, l'Internet ne fonctionnait pas lors de notre séjour. La situation était sans doute temporaire.

  La. Verdad que todo. Desde la comunicación con los dueños hasta que nos vinieran a traer la llave y acompañarnos al chheking como las instalaciones. Casa muy comoda. El barrio. Muy bueno y la. Zona no tiene ruidos. Cuando vuelva a Sevilla, mi 1 opcion son ellos.
