You know what struck me first about RentalSevilla Real de la Carretería? It’s actually tucked right into the heart of Seville’s old town without feeling like a tourist trap. I mean, you’re literally on Calle Real de la Carretería – which locals just call “la Carretería” – and this street has this amazing energy where you’ll see actual Sevillanos heading to work in the morning mixed with visitors trying to figure out their maps. The building itself has that classic Andalusian charm, but honestly, what I loved most was how it felt like staying in a neighborhood rather than just being another hotel guest.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to really experience Seville. You’re maybe a five-minute walk from the Cathedral (you can actually hear the bells in the morning, which sounds romantic but fair warning – they start early), and the Santa Cruz quarter is right there when you want to get lost in those impossibly narrow streets. But here’s the thing – you’re also close enough to Plaza de la Encarnación that you can grab groceries at the market or hit up some of the tapas bars that aren’t completely overrun with tour groups. I spent most evenings just wandering around the neighborhood, and you’ll find these little plazas where kids are playing football while their parents chat on benches. The area gets lively in the evenings – Spanish lively, which means it can get a bit noisy if you’re a light sleeper, but that’s just part of the charm.

What really sets this place apart is that it manages to be genuinely comfortable without trying too hard to impress. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s not luxury, but everything works the way it should, the staff actually knows the neighborhood (ask them about the best time to visit the rooftop at Metropol Parasol), and you get the sense they care about your experience. The building keeps that old Seville character – thick walls that keep things cool, traditional tiles, that sort of thing – but with modern touches that actually make sense. Parking can be tricky in this part of town, but honestly, once you’re here, you won’t need a car anyway. Everything worth seeing is either walkable or a quick metro ride away. I’d definitely come back, especially during spring when the weather’s perfect and the whole city feels alive. Just don’t expect it to be quiet – but then again, if you wanted quiet, you probably wouldn’t be staying in the center of one of Spain’s most vibrant cities.

  The rooftop terrace and pool is a brilliant addition to this apartment

  Beautiful comfortable apartment. Luxury bathrooms, good beds and a wonderful roof terrace! the neugbhourhood was nice!

  Myself and my sisters had a lovely time in Seville staying in Rental Sevilla.
  The apartment was great, very spacious and clean. It was really well equipped with everything we needed. It’s central and close to lots of restaurants and the many attractions of Seville.
  The terrace space was so good for relaxing in the sunshine ☀️
  
  What could be improved: The tub was not hot and that was disappointing for us as that was one of the reasons we booked the apartment .
  The address we were given did not bring us to the apartment on google maps but once we found it that problem was solved .

  Stunning location, a lovely overall apartment, plenty of space and everything was clean. The roof top space and view was amazing and was our main reason for booking the property. It did not disappoint.
  
  What could be improved: Very specific comment. Both shower designs were flawed as there was no slope to the drain so water went everywhere. Aside from this point, everything else was fantastic.

  The location is great. Right in the centre, close to all the tourist attractions. The place itself is lovely, clean, well furnished. And the terrace with a heated pool! A very special experience. We had a brilliant stay.

  The apartment was spacious and clean. Great location.
  Roof top spacious would have wonderful if the pool was clean..
  
  What could be improved: We purposely picked the pool and roof top ,to cool down and relax. However it was filthy. Four women would in no way get into dirty pool and cloudy filthy water. Also the apartment Aircon was not turned on. Tried a call agency staff no one answered back.. We loved rooftop and it was disappointing. Location was great. Thankfully we made the most of it as Seville is amazing city..

  Het was een geweldige locatie, heel centraal in het centrum. Alles was op loopafstand van het appartement.
  Het was erg netjes en mooi, keuken was heel uitgebreid en er ontbrak aan niks.
  Bij aankomst door eigen schuld ,niet helemaal goed begrepen hoe we naar binnen moesten, maar de verhuurder was goed te bereiken en kon ons direct helpen.
  Als we nog een keer naar Sevilla gaan dan zou ik dit appartement weer boeken.
  
  What could be improved: Helaas was de watertemperatuur van de jacuzzi niet optimaal. Het was echt te koud om van te kunnen genieten. Dit was erg jammer omdat we bewust hadden gekozen voor een jacuzzi ipv een zwembad.
