Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first spotted Riverside Suits tucked away on Calle Torneo – I mean, the name’s a bit cheesy, right? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The building itself has that quintessential Sevillian charm you’re hoping for, all cream-colored stone and wrought iron balconies, sitting right in the heart of the old town where you can practically smell the orange blossoms year-round.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (they actually remembered I’d mentioned arriving late), and the room had those little touches that show someone’s paying attention – proper blackout curtains for afternoon siestas, a mini-fridge that actually keeps things cold, and thank god, air conditioning that works without sounding like a freight train. The beds are solid too, which matters when you’ve been walking cobblestones all day exploring the Alcázar or getting lost in the Santa Cruz neighborhood. You know what I really appreciated? The soundproofing is better than you’d expect for an old building – Seville can get pretty lively at night, especially during festival season, but I could actually sleep.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Seville rather than just visiting it. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cathedral (you can see the Giralda tower from some of the upper floor windows), but you’re on a quieter street that doesn’t get the constant stream of tour groups. There’s this little tapas bar called El Rinconcillo just around the corner – supposedly the oldest in the city, though every bar in Seville claims that – where locals actually hang out, not just tourists. And if you need groceries or forgot your phone charger, there’s a decent market about two blocks down toward the river. Speaking of the river, the Guadalquivir is close enough for evening walks, though don’t expect actual riverside views from most rooms despite the name. The breakfast spread is pretty solid too – proper jamón ibérico, fresh bread, decent coffee, and they don’t rush you out even if you show up late. I’d definitely stay here again, especially considering the 8.7 rating isn’t just inflated review padding – it feels earned. Just book early if you’re coming during Semana Santa or the April Fair, because this place fills up fast when word gets around about somewhere actually good.

  Estaba muy cerca de todo, para darte un paseo andando y no tener que coger el coche para todo, pero no en el meollo. Muy tranquilo.
  
  What could be improved: Por sacarle una pega, nos toco el apartamento de movilidad reducidad y no tenia mampara la ducha, por lo que habia que tener cuidado con el agua. Las cañerias olian un poquito mal, pero nada insufrible la verdad.

  El apartamento estaba perfecto, la ubicación ideal para ver Sevilla a 20 minutos andando, se puede aparcar cruzando el puente. Recién abierto al público, todo nuevo y limpísimo. Ideal para pasar unos días en Sevilla.
