Okay, so Salado Suites is one of those places that actually gets the apartment-hotel thing right – and I mean that, because so many don’t. It’s tucked away on this narrow street in Triana, which honestly might be my favorite part of Seville now. You know how some neighborhoods feel like they’re putting on a show for tourists? Triana doesn’t do that. It’s just… real. The building itself is pretty understated from the outside, but once you’re inside, there’s this calm, grown-up vibe that I wasn’t expecting from a 4-star place.

The apartments are properly spacious – not just “European spacious” where you can barely fit your suitcase. I’m talking actual room to spread out, with kitchens that you’d genuinely want to cook in (the local market on Calle Castilla is about a 5-minute walk if you’re into that). What really got me though was how quiet it stays, even when Triana gets lively in the evenings. The windows are solid, and honestly, the street itself doesn’t get the heavy foot traffic that some of the more obvious tourist areas do. You’ll hear the occasional delivery truck in the morning, but that’s about it.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I booked: parking around there can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but there’s actually a decent public lot about three blocks away on Calle Pagés del Corro. The front desk staff – well, they’re not going to win any enthusiasm awards, but they know their stuff and they’ll sort you out without any fuss. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises about city taxes or anything like that. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind, but everything works the way it should, the beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning actually keeps up with Seville’s summer heat (which, trust me, is no joke). If you want to be in the thick of things but still have a proper base to come back to, this works. Plus, you’re literally a 10-minute walk from the cathedral across the river, but you get to sleep in a neighborhood where people actually live their lives.

  Very nice apartment with good view and everything that you need. Also it’s really close to all sightseeing places.

  What could be improved: the shower was broken, the first evening we struggled to take a shower. they came to fix it the next day in the afternoon. we were not notified that someone would come to enter the apartment in our absence (we met by chance in the hallway)

  Location was convenient and the room was hygienic.
  
  What could be improved: The duvet and pillow covers were not good quality and the pillow itself was extremely uncomfortable. The room was in close proximity of a school and bar, so it was very loud in the morning and at night, not to mention the constant construction in the morning. The size of the room was disappointing, as we expected to welcome a larger room, how it was shown in the booking.

  Está ubicado muy cerquita de la costa. Cruzando el puente, se puede recorrer el casco histórico a pie. Triana es un barrio bellísimo, para disfrutarlo! El departamento hermoso, muy bien equipado y con buen gusto. La recepción del edificio siempre a disposición. Los felicito. Tuvimos una estadía excepcional.
  
  What could be improved: Tuve problemas con una compra que realicé. Los empleados del edificio estuvieron siempre a disposición para colaborar, no así a quien alquilamos, que resultó ser una empresa. Nos sentimos un poco decepcionados por la falta de colaboración del anfitrión. Igual resolvimos el tema gracias a la gente del edificio, por eso no bajo la calificación.
