Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of boutique hotels that try too hard to be trendy, but San Bernardo by TheGoodTourist actually gets it right. When you first walk up to this 4-star spot on Calle San Bernardo, it doesn’t scream “look at me” like some places do – instead, it has this understated confidence that made me curious from the start. The building itself feels authentically Sevillian without being touristy about it, you know what I mean?

What really won me over was how they’ve nailed the details that matter. The rooms are thoughtfully designed – not Instagram-perfect but genuinely comfortable, with these subtle touches that show someone actually thought about how travelers live. I mean, there are enough outlets near the bed (revolutionary concept, apparently), and the bathroom has proper water pressure, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but here we are. The staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood too, not just the obvious tourist spots. When I asked about finding a decent late-night bite, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic restaurant list – he actually told me about this little tapas place around the corner that stays open past midnight, the kind of local intel you can’t Google.

The Nervión location is actually pretty smart if you think about it. You’re close enough to the historic center that you can walk there easily (maybe 20-25 minutes at a leisurely pace), but you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds that come with staying right in the thick of things. The area has this lived-in feel – real Sevillians going about their daily business, neighborhood bars that aren’t performing for tourists, that sort of thing. There’s a metro stop nearby if your feet give out, and honestly, the walk back after dinner gives you time to digest both the food and the day’s adventures. Parking can be a bit tricky like anywhere in Seville, but the hotel staff knows the area well enough to point you toward the best options. That 9.4 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works the way it should, and the whole experience feels more authentic than a lot of the competition.

  El alojamiento está equipado con todo tipo de electrodomésticos. Teníamos todo lo necesario en el apartamento, destacamos también que los dos baños son completos (uno bañera y el otro ducha) ya que pensábamos que igual uno sería completo y el otro un aseo. El barrio es muy tranquilo y el edificio también, está céntrico. Cerca hay un carrefour express a unos 10 minutos andando. La verdad que volveríamos encantados, ha sido todo un acierto.

  Nagyon jó helyen van a szállás, minden látnivaló rövid sétával elérhető. A ház egy nyugalmas egyirányú utcában van. A lakás nagyon csendes, az ablakai nem az utcára, hanem a belső korfolyosóra nyílnak, így a nyugodt pihenés abszolút biztosított. Minden szobában van hűtő-fűtő klíma, így télen és nyáron is kellemes lehet a hőmérséklet a lakásban. A konyha jól felszerelt, a két fürdőszoba is nagyon jó volt, mivel mi négyen voltunk. Érkezésünk előtt váltottam néhány üzenetet a szállásadóval, mindig nagyon hamar válaszolt. Az érkezésünk napján már 11 órakor be tudtunk jelentkezni, ebben is rugalmasak voltak. Nyilván ez attól is függ hogy volt-e előtte lakó és mikorra tudnak kitakarítani. A közelben van MAS szupermarket és piac is,
  
  What could be improved: A két ágyas szobában nincs szekrény csak akasztó és vállfák. Jobbra az ajtó mellett van annyi hely hogy beférjen egy két személyes szekrény! Ha ezt biztosítja a szállásadó a jövőben, akkor tényleg semmi kifogásolhatót nem lehet találni a lakásban.
