Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, but San Buenaventura Apartment 12 hit different – and I mean that in the best way possible. You’re literally on Calle Mesón de los Caballeros, which honestly sounds way fancier than it needs to, but here’s the thing: you’re smack in the heart of the old town without being on one of those tourist-packed streets where you can’t sleep because of the flamenco music at 2 AM. The building itself has that gorgeous Andalusian thing going on – you know, the kind of place where you walk through these heavy wooden doors and suddenly you’re in this quiet courtyard that feels like a secret.

What actually got me was how the apartment manages to feel both historic and livable. I mean, you’ve got these beautiful traditional tiles and thick walls that keep things cool (crucial in Seville summers, trust me), but then there’s proper WiFi and a kitchen that actually works. The location is honestly perfect if you want to explore on foot – the Cathedral’s like a five-minute walk, and you can hit up the Alcázar without breaking a sweat. But here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you: you’re also walking distance from some incredible local bars that tourists never find. There’s this tiny place around the corner where they serve the best montaditos, and the owner always remembers your order after the second visit.

Parking can be tricky – I’ll be honest about that – but that’s true for anywhere in the old town. What I loved though was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to everything that you can stumble home after dinner, but far enough from the main party streets that you can actually sleep. The apartment gets amazing light in the mornings too, which sounds like a small thing but when you’re jet-lagged and trying to adjust, it really matters. Plus, with that 9.6 rating, you know other people are having the same experience. I’ve stayed in plenty of four-star places that felt generic, but this one has character – the kind of place where you find yourself planning your next Seville trip before you’ve even checked out.

  Todo nuevo y de buena calidad, decoración excelente. En una calle tranquila por donde no pasan coches. El propietario muy atento a cualquier duda y da buenas recomendaciones. Todo el edificio renovado con muy buen gusto.
