Hotel Description

I’ll be honest – when I first walked into San Jacinto Triana Suite, I wasn’t expecting much from the street entrance on Calle San Jacinto. The building looks pretty traditional from the outside, you know, typical Sevillian architecture that blends right into the neighborhood. But step inside and it’s actually quite impressive. The lobby has this modern-meets-Andalusian thing going on that somehow works really well, and the staff at check-in were genuinely helpful (not just going through the motions like you get at some places).

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location – and I mean that in ways most travel sites won’t tell you. Yeah, you’re in Triana, which everyone knows is amazing, but here’s what matters: you’re close enough to hear the flamenco from the tablaos on weekend nights (which is either charming or annoying depending on your perspective), and you can walk to the Mercado de Triana in about three minutes for the best breakfast tomatoes you’ll ever have. The Isabel II bridge is right there when you want to cross into the old city, but honestly, I found myself staying on the Triana side more than I expected. There’s something about this neighborhood that just feels more… real? Less touristy, I guess. The suite itself was spacious – I mean properly spacious, not European-hotel-spacious – with a little kitchenette that actually came in handy for storing those amazing olives from the market. The bathroom was modern and the shower had decent water pressure, which you can’t take for granted in older Seville buildings.

One thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it gets at night, especially during the week. You’d think being on a main street in Triana would mean constant noise, but once you close the windows (which are actually well-insulated), it’s surprisingly peaceful. The air conditioning worked well too, which – trust me – you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting between May and September. I stayed there in late spring and it was already getting pretty warm during the day. The neighborhood really comes alive around 8 PM when people start their evening paseos, and there’s this great little bar just two doors down where locals actually drink (not just tourists). I can’t remember the name, but it’s got these blue tiles on the front. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but honestly, you don’t need it – some of Seville’s best tapas spots are within a five-minute walk, and the staff gave me better recommendations than any guidebook I’ve read. Overall, it’s solid value for what you get, especially considering the location and the fact that you’re getting apartment-style space rather than just a hotel room. It’s not luxury, but it’s comfortable and authentic, which I think is exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually experience Seville rather than just pass through it.

  • Dblrev from Latvia – 17 February 2025 (8/10)

Great location, comfortable bed, ample space

What could be improved: Shower is a bit weak. Kitchen needs washing-up soap in quantity bigger than a spoon-size bag provided

  • Jáchym from Czech Republic – 6 April 2023 (9/10)

Well equipped apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. separate sleeping and living room.

What could be improved: Due to the fact that the apartment complex is behind a gate, the check in is not as easy, you’ll be greeted by someone to open up for you. you’ll have to exactly specify the time of arrival. but the staff was very nice and communicative.

I got the self-check in form about 3 times after i left the apartment plus some newsletter subscriptions in my email.

  • Agatha from France – 2 July 2024 (9/10)

Fantastic location with exceptional staff, conveniently situated with delicious food. We appreciated all aspects; the room was tidy, and the pool was delightful. We also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the stunning views from the balcony. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Overall, we had a truly wonderful experience and cannot wait to visit again in the future.

  • Christina from Portugal – 4 March 2024 (9/10)

Great location close to bars, restaurants, clean apartment, helpful staff.

  • Hsu-young from Netherlands – 12 October 2022 (4/10)

the room is quite clean and quiet

What could be improved: there is hidden fee for late check-in, if you don’t know about your schedule, and arrive the property later than midnight, then it will cost you 22% to 50% more on a room night price. Something to plan beforehand.

We booked our transportation throughout our trip, and we only knew the actual arrival time few days before arriving Seville. The host then told us after 00:00 will cost 20€ for late check-in, while we arrived exactly at 00:00 with constant communication of our status after getting off the train (the last train and the only available train we could get). The host has no sympathy but insists on charging the fee and stated it’s the rule of booking.com.
The guy who handed the key had good attitude, however, he wasn’t familiar with how to find the place and which key to use. The key seems not fit the door perfectly, every time we got stuck at the door for more than 5 mins to pull the key out.

The shower is a disaster as many reviews already, I thought it was just the problem with the amount of water, but apparently also no hot water.

The place is quite far from the train stations

  • Shahero from South Africa – 7 November 2023 (5/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Massive lack of communication.

Emailing me to tell me you need a 10 star rating is not appropriate. I have to be honest.

  • Raquel from Spain – 25 May 2025 (8/10)

    La ubicación

What could be improved: Poca presión de agua en la ducha. Falta una cortina para que no entre luz en el dormitorio ya que no tiene persiana una parte de la ventana

  • Serena from Italy – 4 February 2025 (9/10)

Struttura pulita, posizione centrale e lo staff sempre disponibile

  • Mariola from Poland – 30 December 2024 (9/10)

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja obiektu, wygodne łóżko do spania, dobrze wyposażony, zapas akcesoriów kuchennych na start

What could be improved: Brak półki na rzeczy w łazience

  • Irene from Italy – 5 October 2024 (9/10)

Appartamento spazioso in un complesso molto ben tenuto.

What could be improved: Il divano è molto usurato e scomodo per distendersi. In bagno non guasterebbe uno scaffale in più.
