Hotel Description
You know what really surprised me about San Lorenzo? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street – Calle Cardenal Spínola – that most tourists completely miss, but you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral. I mean, you can actually hear the bells if you open the windows, which honestly became one of those little things I looked forward to each morning.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place rather than a typical hotel setup. The ceilings are properly high – that old Sevillian architecture thing – and there’s enough space to actually spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night. You’re in the thick of everything but somehow avoid the late-night bar crowd noise that echoes through some of the main tourism streets. The AC works well too, which… well, if you’ve been to Seville in summer, you know that’s not always a given even in nice places.
Here’s the thing about the location that took me a day to figure out – you’re perfectly positioned between the touristy Cathedral area and the more local neighborhoods where people actually live. Walk five minutes toward Plaza de Armas and you hit proper tapas spots where locals go after work. Walk the other direction and you’re at all the must-see stuff. There’s a little market nearby on Calle Feria (Thursday mornings especially) that most guidebooks don’t mention, but it’s where I ended up buying the best olives I’ve ever had. The building itself is one of those converted traditional houses, so the entrance feels almost residential – I actually walked past it twice the first day because I was looking for something more hotel-like. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward though, none of that lobby waiting around business. The whole experience just felt more authentic than those big chain places near the river, and honestly, the 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s the kind of place you’d book again without hesitation, especially if you want to feel like you’re experiencing Seville rather than just visiting it.

Carlos es una maravillosa persona! Siempre manteniéndonos informados de los eventos de la
