Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of apartment hotels in Seville, and San Martín Suites actually gets it right in ways that surprised me. The location alone – you’re literally on Plaza San Martín de Porres in Triana, which honestly feels like you’re living in the neighborhood rather than just visiting it. I mean, Triana has this whole different vibe from the main city center across the river, more authentic somehow, and being right on the plaza means you’ve got that perfect Spanish apartment balcony experience where you can watch the locals go about their daily routine.

What really struck me was how the suites feel like actual apartments, not those sterile hotel rooms dressed up with a kitchenette. The spaces are generous – I’m talking proper living areas where you can spread out, which is clutch if you’re staying more than a couple nights or traveling with family. The kitchens are functional too, not just for show, and there’s something satisfying about picking up ingredients from the Mercado de Triana (just a five-minute walk, by the way) and cooking with Spanish olive oil while you can hear the evening chatter from the plaza below. The whole setup makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary resident, you know?

Now, being in Triana means you’re technically across the Guadalquivir from all the major monuments – the Cathedral, Alcázar, that whole scene – but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The walk across the Puente de Isabel II takes maybe ten minutes, and you get those postcard views of the city skyline every single time. Plus, Triana itself has plenty to keep you busy – the ceramic workshops, the flamenco tablaos that locals actually go to, and some absolutely killer tapas bars that don’t have English menus (which is always a good sign). The neighborhood gets lively in the evenings, especially on weekends, but the plaza itself doesn’t turn into a party zone, so you can actually sleep. I stayed here during Feria season once, and while the whole city was basically one big celebration, the apartment felt like a calm refuge when I needed to recharge. That 9.1 rating isn’t just inflated review scores – the place genuinely delivers on the details that matter when you’re trying to live somewhere temporarily rather than just crash for the night.

  Good location for centre of tourist area, approx 30 minutes easy flat walk to the cathedral. Apartment was clean and with space. Nice patio with table if you wish to sit outside to eat or drink. Good cooking facilities if you wish to cater for yourself. 2 showers/bathrooms is good if several people are staying. Dishwasher was useful.

  Great place, really spacious, comfortable and clean. We loved the location as it is not in the main center but just at a short walk away which was perfect. There’s a supermarket across the street and several places to eat which were full of locals.

  It;"s a very comfortable flat. The kitchen is well- equipped. The area is safe, quiet and there are lots of restaurants next to it. It's withing walking distance to the center of the city. I do recommend it.
