The minute I walked up to number 30 on Calle San Vicente, I could hear the gentle clatter of horse hooves on cobblestones – those tourist carriages are constantly clip-clopping past, which honestly adds to the charm rather than being annoying. The building itself has that weathered Sevillian character you’d expect in the old town, with traditional ironwork balconies that look like they’ve been watching over this narrow street for decades.
The apartment itself is actually quite spacious for what you’d typically find in the historic center. I mean, most places in this part of Seville are basically glorified closets, but this one surprised me with decent room to spread out. The owner clearly knows their stuff – there’s proper air conditioning (trust me, you’ll need it if you’re visiting between May and September), and the WiFi actually works consistently, which… well, anyone who’s stayed in old Spanish buildings knows that’s not always a given. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to keep the original architectural details – those gorgeous high ceilings and traditional tiles – while making everything function for modern travelers. The kitchen’s small but functional, and honestly, you’re probably going to be eating at the incredible tapas bars within a two-minute walk anyway.
Location-wise, this is where San Vicente’s really shines. You’re literally in the heart of everything that matters in Seville – the Cathedral’s bell tower is close enough that you’ll hear the evening chimes, and the Santa Cruz neighborhood (where all the postcard-perfect narrow alleys are) starts basically at your doorstep. But here’s the thing locals know: Calle San Vicente sits just far enough from the main tourist drags like Calle Mateos Gago that you won’t be dealing with rowdy groups stumbling past your window at 2 AM. I actually slept better here than at some places closer to the river. The morning routine becomes this lovely ritual – step outside and you’re immediately surrounded by the scent of orange blossoms (depending on the season) and the sound of shopkeepers hosing down their storefronts. There’s a tiny local bar called El Rinconcillo just around the corner that’s been serving the same families for generations – the kind of place where the bartender remembers your drink after the second visit. Parking’s going to be… well, it’s the old town, so forget about driving here. But the tram stop at Plaza Nueva is maybe an eight-minute walk, and honestly, everything you want to see in Seville is within walking distance anyway. The 9.2 rating makes complete sense once you spend a night here – it’s that rare combination of authentic location, comfortable amenities, and owners who actually care about the details that make a stay memorable rather than just acceptable.

What could be improved: Os vizinhos do andar de cima. A vizinha entra em casa às 1h30m e houve desde a entrada do prédio até entrar em casa, espanca a porta a essa hora da madrugada. Anda em casa com saltos altos e parece que anda a cavalgar. A meio da noite decidem fazer sexo mas a cama range tanto que acordou a nossa casa toda.
