Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Seville apartments, and this place on Calle Corral del Rey actually surprised me. You know those narrow streets in the old quarter where you’re constantly getting lost? Well, this one’s tucked right in there, but somehow it feels like you’ve found this little oasis once you step inside. The building itself is one of those classic Sevillian houses – you walk through this tiny entrance and suddenly there’s this gorgeous interior courtyard that just opens up around you.

What really got me was the patio situation. I mean, having any outdoor space in the centro histórico is gold, but this isn’t just some token balcony. It’s actually usable – I spent most mornings out there with coffee, and honestly, the evening light hits it perfectly around seven or eight. The apartment itself feels more spacious than you’d expect from the street view, and whoever designed it really knows how travelers think. There’s enough counter space in the kitchen (which sounds silly until you’re trying to make breakfast in a space the size of a closet), and the shower pressure is… well, let’s just say it’s better than half the hotels I’ve tried in this neighborhood. The whole place has this lived-in elegance – not museum-perfect like some rentals, but comfortable in that way that makes you want to actually unpack your suitcase.

Here’s what you should know practically speaking: you’re a three-minute walk from the Cathedral, which means yes, it gets touristy during the day, but it also means you can duck back for a siesta when the afternoon heat hits. The street itself is surprisingly quiet at night – I was worried about noise being right in the thick of things, but the thick walls do their job. Parking is… well, it’s the old town, so forget about parking. But you’re close enough to everything that you won’t need a car anyway. The nearest good grocery store is actually the little place on Calle Sierpes (about five minutes if you don’t get distracted by all the shops), and if you want to grab something quick, there’s a decent café right around the corner that opens early. One tiny thing – the WiFi can be a bit spotty in the bedroom, but it’s fine everywhere else. Overall though, this place just works. It’s got that sweet spot of feeling authentically Sevillian without making you sacrifice comfort, and that patio really does make all the difference when you want to decompress after a day of wandering around those maze-like streets.

    The property was very central.
    Everything was so close. Close to the sights and supermarket. 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms. Amazing.
    The property was clean and spacious. Very confortabile for me and my partner. Impeccable kitchen.
    The ladies, Esperanza and Maria del Mar, made the staying so special for us. They were very friendly and very easy to book. They were very responsive at the time of texting, and they gave us so many recommendations on how to visit Sevilla. Gracias chicas.

    What could be improved: Everything was above expectations. We are extremely happy.

    Great location – bars, restaurants, shops and a couple of supermarkets very close by. Also very easy to walk to the main sights in the area.

    What could be improved: Access into the property was difficult. There is a (new to us) system called Nuki. The host instructed us to download the app, which we did, but we couldn't make it work. We managed to enter the building only by enlisting the help of another resident who opened the doors for us. Once inside we found the keys easily so that thereafter access wasn't a problem. We feel that potential clients should be informed at the time of booking of this Nuki set-up as not everyone has the necessary smart phone. Also tried to ring the host to ask for help but no-one was available.

    Place is perfectly situated, it was specious enough for 2 to 3 people. There is also a nice terrace, but no view as it's on the inside of the building facing your neighbors, so we didn't feel like using it.
    It has 2 bedrooms with enough closet space and a nice big bathroom.
    1 pers. bedroom with a private small bathroom and 2 pers bedroom with a very small 2 person bed, 120, maybe 140cm.
    The bigger bedroom you can hear the neighbors clearly so with the windows open you will wake up from the noises.
    The contact with the owner went easy by email or text.
    To get access to the building you need to provide info about all quest staying. When you arrive you need to download an app to get a key code, for older people it might be a problem.
    We enjoyed our stay, are happy with the quick response to any questions we had and would return next time.

    What could be improved: Double bed very small for 2 persons.
    Noises from the neighbors in the bigger bedroom.
    For older people the required steps before getting the key code might be a problem.

    Good location

    What could be improved: Lock box to get key around the corner and hard to see. Took an hour and host never a swerved the phone. Kitchen smelled BAD. No blankets on the bed. The terrace was on the inside. The 2nd bedroom bed was a child's bed.

    Good shower, nice kitchen, ok lounge and outside area.

    What could be improved: The owner ignored our request to get an earlier access to the property, we had arrived at 10am in Madrid as there were only 2 flights available, either 6.20 am to a lot later in the evening. We requested if we could access the apartment at 2pm – The owner didnt respond to my friends initial text messages or calls and we were then told that we couldn't get in until 4pm, we didn't actually gain entrance until 4.35pm and that was when the cleaner came out. It would have been helpful if we could have left our suitcase there before it was ready. We were hot and tired and starting to worry that we wouldn't have anywhere to stay as the city was fully booked due to the fiesta. The beds weren't very comfortable and the pillows were very thin.
