You know what struck me first about Sevilla Luxury Rentals – Alcazar? It’s actually on Miguel de Mañara, which sounds fancy but is really just this narrow cobblestone street that feels like stepping into a different century. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Alcázar itself – and I’m talking about the real entrance, not the tourist-packed main gate everyone photographs. When you step out in the morning, you can hear the clip-clop of horse carriages before the day tour groups arrive, which honestly gives you this incredible sense of having old Seville to yourself for a few precious hours.

The building itself has that classic Sevillan thing going on – white walls, wrought iron balconies, and these gorgeous azulejo tiles in the entrance that look like someone’s grandmother has been polishing them for decades. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep the old-world charm without making you feel like you’re roughing it. The rooms have proper air conditioning (trust me, you’ll need it if you’re visiting between May and September), and the bathrooms are actually modern – none of that “charming” plumbing that barely works. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places where small details matter, like how they leave local orange blossom honey at breakfast instead of those generic little packets.

Location-wise, it’s pretty much perfect if you want to explore the old town on foot. You’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back from Calle Betis at 3 AM, but close enough to everything that matters. The Cathedral’s bells will wake you up on Sunday mornings – some people might find that annoying, but I actually loved it. Plus, you’re right near that little plaza where locals grab their morning coffee (Bar Carmela, if you want specifics), and the evening light hits the narrow streets in this golden way that makes even your phone photos look professional. Just a heads up though – parking is basically impossible on the street itself, but there’s a public garage about five minutes away on Cano y Cueto. The staff will actually walk you there on your first day, which saved me from wandering around with luggage like a lost tourist. It’s exactly the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-kept family home rather than just another hotel room, and honestly, in a city like Seville where atmosphere is everything, that makes all the difference.

    The location was fantastic and even though we were overlooking a main tourist area the apartment was really quiet.

    The location was fantastic. We didn’t really spend any time in the apartment other than to sleep but the bed was very comfortable.

    Amazing location! We walked everywhere. The apartment is also lovely and the most comfortable bed. Maria also provided us with a duvet cover and extra pillows when we asked as we prefer sleeping under a duvet. There was also a lot of space to unpack our clothes and toiletries. Would 100% recommend.

    What could be improved: Not enough amenities like toilet paper, coffee pods and washing pods. It’s okay because we then just bought our own, but would have been nice to have had it at the apartment.

    Location amazing. The size of the apartment is excellent. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Air-conditioning and soundproofing are really good.

    What could be improved: One bedroom, no outside window only window into hallway which was far from ideal. Air circulation was only by leaving the bedroom door open into the apartment .

    Only 1 mug, 2 small coffee cups. Ended up buying a mug. Oven dirty with dirty dish left inside oven.

    The location of the apartment is excellent. The staff is very helpful and super responsive. They were very flexible about the check-in time. We arrived earlier than the normal check-in time. However, we can leave our luggage prior, and enjoyed our sight-seeing during that time. Staff was also very generous about the shampoo and bodywash we requested. Overall, it was a very good experience in Seville.

    What could be improved: Just one knit picking. The blanket was a bit too thin.

    Everything. I have coeliac disease and struggle eating out and find it easier to make my own food. To do that I need the kitchen to be equipped decently and this was. The apartment was modern and uncluttered, but still cosy. The location was perfect and watching the sunset from the rooftop terrace was a delight that we never tired of.

    Great attic in the center of Sevilla Old Town. The Cathedral and the Alcazae are visible from the terrace. the entrance of the building is in a street for pedestrians only.
