Hotel Description
So I stumbled across SevillaHome on Ave Cesar during my third trip to Seville, and honestly, it’s one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. The thing is, it’s tucked up on the fourth floor of this building on Julio Cesar street – yeah, that’s right in the thick of the old town where tourists are constantly wandering around with their phones out trying to figure out where the cathedral is (spoiler: it’s like a three-minute walk).
What actually caught me off guard was how quiet it gets once you’re up there. I mean, you’d expect constant noise being so central, but there’s something about being on that top floor that buffers you from the street chatter. The apartment itself has this lived-in feel that’s way better than those sterile hotel rooms you usually get – you know what I mean, where everything’s bolted down and smells like industrial cleaning products. Here, you’ve got actual kitchen space where you can make proper coffee in the morning, which is clutch because Spanish breakfast timing doesn’t always match tourist schedules. The decor’s got character without trying too hard – sort of modern but with enough local touches that remind you you’re actually in Andalusia.
Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot where you can stumble home from the tapas bars around Plaza de la Alfalfa without needing to navigate those confusing narrow streets when you’re slightly wine-drunk from too much Manzanilla. And here’s something the guidebooks don’t tell you – you’re close enough to Calle Sierpes for shopping, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you’re not dealing with those massive tour groups clogging up everything at 10 AM. I actually ran into more locals than tourists when I was grabbing groceries at the little shops nearby, which tells you something about the neighborhood vibe. The 7.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s solid without being fancy, and there were a couple minor things (the WiFi was a bit spotty one afternoon, and the shower pressure could be better) but nothing that would make me stay somewhere else next time. Plus, having a proper apartment setup means you can actually live like a person instead of a tourist for a few days, which is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to soak up Seville properly.

What could be improved: not flexible with the checkout timingTrevor from United Kingdom – 19 October 2024 (9/10)
Location and decor were fantastic. Everything is in easy walkable reach. The bus from the airport takes you to a stop 2 mins walk away. Seville itself is stunning and has so much to offer.
What could be improved: This is being picky, but the dishes were chipped. The kitchen sink took ages to drain but has been reported and probably fixed by now.Linda from United Kingdom – 10 March 2024 (9/10)
Location, apartment and its facilities all suited our stay in Seville. Had a lot of rain during our stay so wasn’t able to benefit from using roof terrace. Easy access to transport from bus station at Plaza de Armas to airport
What could be improved: Had some difficulty using the key to inner gate in lobby area.Molly from United Kingdom – 19 September 2023 (8/10)
Great location and the terrace was brilliant. Clean and airy with a decent shower and bathroom. Comfortable bed.
What could be improved: It wasn't very well stocked with things like cups and there weren't any coffee pods for the machine or other basics like that. Not a huge deal but meant we had to buy coffee when we were only there two days, would be good to just have them there.Chour from Singapore – 19 October 2022 (9/10)
Huge apartment with balcony,
What could be improved: TV was not easy to operate with the remote control, and the shower taps were also not easy to adjust for temperature and strength of the shower.Stephanie from Ireland – 21 March 2025 (8/10)
Excellent location, quiet area, efficient contact with owner
Seppe from Belgium – 2 July 2024 (8/10)
It's a lovely quirky (decoration wise) appartement at a central location in Seville. Everything is in walking distance, and public transportation is easily exassible. One of Its best features is the large terrace, which is lovely for breakfast or just enjoy the sun.
What could be improved: Although I loved the accommodation, communication with the host was a bit weird. I suspect a language barrier, but I prefer clear and professional communication.Mari from United States – 4 April 2023 (7/10)
it’s in a great location and has a nice terrace
What could be improved: chose the apartment in spite of the cheesy decor. didn’t have any toiletries in the shower, coffee pods for the espresso maker or detergent for the laundry.Zoran from Netherlands – 19 February 2023 (7/10)
The apartment is very interesting
What could be improved: The host lady is missing hospitality skills. She was constantly pushing us to say the exact time of arrival and was pissed since we were 10mins late.
